No, haven't deleted the shader cache in a week or more. I was playing a few days ago on .4 fine.

Though I did get a black screen on .4 which reconnecting the DVI fixed (well, it let me force shutdown MW2 as it was unresponsive).

I just haven't had much luck with DX9 on Win10

 

I still think it's a Win10 issue and hasn't been 100% fixed so I'm more hoping it will be fixed next Win update.

I think they will Push WDDM 2.1 GPU Drivers to the MAXIMUM
ATI/AMD -> Maximum Game

 

What do you mind? WDDM 2.1 brings HLSL 6.0, HDR10 and that's all. At this moment that is meaningless. I don't read a specification, I'm rather basing on information from MSDN.

Not a single problem with games on Windows 7 or tested Win 8.1.

 

We have WDDM 2.1 support in driver for some time already. What exactly do you expect?

@Rambo: SM 6.0 final spec isn't released yet as far a I know.

 

What GPU's from AMD will support SM6?

 

Unless I'm mistaken, everything that supports WDDM 2.1.

 

I can be wrong here but all GCN 1.1 cards and up, so all cards that supports dx12 at future level 12_0. GCN 1.0 is only future level 11_1 and probably will not support SM6

We need to know what is WDDM 2.1 (Windows Display Driver Model), its basically New Digital Driver supporting new DX Features for Gaming & Multimedia.

The WDDM 2.1 is not only the: Shader Model 6.0 (mandatory for feature levels 12_0 and 12_1) + HDR and some Refresh stuff

After releasing the first "True" Digital WDDM 2.1 in Summer after Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607) we all experienced Hudge FPS Boost in Games in New Driver by ATI/AMD (The 16.9.2?)

So IMO it's not only The Features but also better efficiency, and of course new Problems (like GCN 1.0 Bug etc.)
Thats why i think that New Anniversary Driver -> The Mighty OMEGA <- will Give us Performance Boost as well as the Bugs Fixing (like last time, many Bugs will go away and Driver team can have solid Base for new Drivers)

 

Will old hardware even support SM6.0? Do GCN 1.1+ cards support SM5.1 which came out along dx12?

 

That's a shame. Oh, well upgrade is needed anyway.
