Yeah, I tried it with your settings and ENB and everything, and honestly, the game still plays so much smoother with CF disabled...heck, I can run everything at Ultra except shadow distance (Medium) and disabling GodRays with a single card and have a very playable experience. Plus, I was getting some texture corruption with those settings with ENB and CFX enabled.

    Thanks for the help tho.

Edit: I also limit the Tesselation to 8x for the smoothness with single card, forgot about that.

    why disable the steam launcher?

enb/mods work fine with it enabled.

make sure you install the unofficial patch, lots of corruption/graphics fixes...

Does it work with the 1.5 beta?

I really wanted to keep these installed on my system but the night I installed them and went to bed I woke up with anomalies in my event viewer periodically giving me:

"Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

which is the same thing I got when my computer was idle and I was on 16.4.1

so I had to DDU the system and run with the 16.3.2's that are stable. :(

    so bummed...

SO far this driver has been splended for me. For whatever reason 16.4.1 killed some frames in DS3 for me but 16.4.2 runs like 16.3.x for me. I am however running the game in double Vsync now and with this driver it feels a bit smoother for me too. Have not checked the corruption in FO4 but for anyone interested this happened on a single 290X.

When I went closer to the wall it showed the proper textures however.

Yeah, that corruption happened to me too---but when I got rid of the mods (ENB, the modded ini(s), turning off CFX), it worked fine. Running the 1.5 beta.

I really wish AMD would fix the stupid triple buffer vsync bug in Mantle for windows 10---it makes DA:I unplayable with Mantle -- 30fps locked. How difficult could it possibly be to fix? I realize that they said there will be no more Mantle driver development, but how about fixing what was broken from the very beginning?

    Sorry, just ranting randomly.

You know, I find different programs work better with different games. It really is a toss up, which is why I have all these installed.

recently updated to 16.4.2 and am having trouble getting AMD drivers to function correctly..
I used to have a two-monitor set-up, and had tweaked the Radeon Settings to get best performance..

    - now I'm back to single monitor and the Radeon Settings GUI won't load properly..
    - it appears as a blurred-out rectangle onscreen, access is not possible..

Is there a way to flush the previous settings, without using the Radeon Settings option, to return to default (factory) settings..??

It shows as 16.4.2 on my main rig, as 16.5.1 on the second and my card became a 7800 series. Same thing and same driver versions. Weird.

16.4.2 just got updated on AMD's site, it now has whql and includes the latest vulkan runtime 1.0.8.0 instead of 1.0.3.1. - haven't tested it yet, so that's all the changes i could observe(yet).
