You can add custom resolutions via registry. Just search for DALNonStandardModesBCD1 at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000, and add your desired resolution in the end by following the same pattern as the other ones listed.

well i went back to windows 7 duel boot ect andd these drivers have no issues with freesync for me or issues with driver crashing when plugging and unplugging monitor or changing resolutions....

seems this is a windows 10 stack issue in the latest preview versions.....
i cant even upgrade to the next preview cause i get graphics display corruption when doing the upgrade.....

    microsoft love fkin **** up.

Good drivers for me so far, although Fallout 4 crossfire profile still isn't perfect.

In games where there is more downclocking, there is some difference on Fury X atleast. But generally it really depends how much downclocking can be used. Naturally if game is demanding and clocks are at full all the time, there is no difference.

Also have to factor in frame rate locks as well

When I had my 290x xfire, I ran bf4 ultra but locked at 75fps.
    Hottest card was 73c.
If I had no fps lock, i was gettings 120+ and both cards would hit 90c.
Im in the middle of getting a Fury X. I also have a freesync monitor myself.
Pretty damn excited to see how this puppy is.
    I have a 2560x1080 75hz 21:9 that does 3360x1440@ 60hz
Didnt get to test this driver on my 290s as I sold them right before this came out.
But have zero issues with my R9 280 3GB I am using right now.
Just really miss freesync on this 280.

yeah i find not too many play it. but usually i pick a game type from the menu and it throws me in somewhere. lag doesn't seem to be an issue from what i noticed.. i think because its a free alpha and they're doing it through their own launcher, the audience is pretty small. i certainly don't see a lot of mainstream talk or advertising about it.

It's definitely the "pre-alpha" business for me. If being an AMD owner has taught me anything, it's patience :)bang:). I loved the older UT games, but I'd rather wait for a more, or fully, complete game before playing and potentially spoiling my enjoyment on a product that is very, very unfinished, especially if there are other games I want to play that are already finished. I'm also 110% certain CF/multi-GPU won't work and 98% certain that I won't get a locked 59FPS at 4K with a single 290X.

Can anyone with CF advise if they still have problems with this driver version to disable CF inside the Game Profile? I advised AMD of this that the last package didn't adhere to 'Crossfire: Disabled' within the game profile and was either globally on or globally off.

They advised that this is a 'known issue' however this was not listed as such on the last driver package or this latest one.

I'm also wondering then what other 'known issues' they are aware of that aren't listed?

If someone could test and let me know if Its still borked, that would be great!! ty

Came from 16.1 and this driver is working great for me. Here is my usual process:

DDU > Driver install > Radeon mod > Reset to defaults > Enable DX9 tweaks > Disable ULPS and power save

What do you expect to happen when you disable CF in a game profile? And how did it behave before that has changed now?

Well maybe he expect that the CFX is EFFECTIVELY disabled in this game if he disable it in his game profile. :)

Per game CFX settings are borked since 16.1, "disable" and other settings don't work in game and give us a nasty "bonus" in form of ULPS reenabled by driver.

As we know a lot of games have very poor CFX support and suffer graphic problems like a lot of flickering, in these games i would like to disable CFX per game without the need to globally disable CFX.

When I disable CF via profile for Fallout 4, none of the issues present in CF persist in single card mode.
