Known Issues

• Performance drop may be experienced while playing Fortnite™ with Multithreaded Rendering and DirectX® 11 API on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon® RX 6900 XT Graphics.
• Stuttering may be experienced while playing Call of Duty®: Warzone™ on the Caldera map with some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon® RX 6900 XT Graphics.
• Higher than expected CPU usage when Instant Replay is enabled on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon® RX 6900 XT Graphics.
• GPU utilization may be stuck at 100% in Radeon performance metrics after closing games on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon™ 570.
• Display may flicker black during video playback plus gameplay on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6700 XT.
• Using Radeon™ Super Resolution on 2560x1600 resolution displays may produce a system hang. A temporary workaround is to set the display Scaling Mode to Full Panel.
• Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.
• Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.

Massive performance improvements here for Hunt: Showdown. but eventually i have crashes with driver timeouts, also monitor is not waking up from sleep, lol.

Still no RX5000 series in the dx11 optimization section...

 

Not much to say about this one that hasn't already been discussed for the Preview Release.

@Andy_96 As for 5000 series, the performance gains are there too, just not stated. After all, they're selling 6000 cards now, not 5000.

Do you honestly use that feature? It works only above your screen's refresh rate. I usually have fps capped below 143 fps (144hz screen), so technically, it should never trigger. Or do you play games above your screens refresh rate?

 

If you don't have a Freeview monitor, I can't imagine why you would ever want Enhanced Sync off. (Bar some titles not working well with it)

 

What is "Freeview"? Freesync you mean?

On gpu-z with this driver in tab sensors the clock are 0 mhz for polaris cards(rx580) ?

Does anyone with Vega gpu tried this driver, do we have the DirectX 11 optimizations on, or only 6000 series crap have them?!

 

Yep, tried May Preview (same branch). There are some gains in some scenarios, but overal gains are minimal.
