Yeah, I'm beginning to think that it'd be 'soft launch' of sort. I called a couple of the shops I go to in the local tech mall, they have no word on availability and price. I was even informed by one of the shops that I can expect the 6800 series to be available on the 25th instead, and only in very, VERY limited number. I think I won't have a chance to snag a 6800XT till, well, when it becomes easily available.....like sometime next year I guess.

Depending On the actual performance this could be my first high end dedicated graphics card from AMD I'd like the 6800xt but with exchange it will be around that 1000$cad mark the non xt looks like it could be good for my budget. At this point I'm so fed up with Nvidia that I dont even care if these perform slightly less if the price is right.

Well - if there's a significant enough rasterisation deficit the gap may not be as big as it would otherwise be.
Especially given we're talking about Moderately Sized Navi here....

I'm curious what will a 6700XT and the other midrangers will look like. According to specs, an RDNA2 CU is like 10% faster than an RDNA1 CU, and much more energy efficient. So, this could mean maybe a 6700XT with 40 CU, 10 TFLOPS, and a <150W (ie. single power connector) wattage?

HW unboxed also says "stock will be as bad as 3080"
at least that'll leave time for waterblocks to be released, I'm not going back to air cooling
tentative delivery date for a Ryzen 5000 cpu in my favorite shop ? february 2021...great :(

Lets see if they have the same launch as Nvidia's "Paper Launch". I'm looking forward to see some real benchmark numbers.

Even on the most demanding games, 6900XT will give a clear 50% advantage by 5700XT.

According to HU and 1440p ultra results, 6900XT will give us 69fps min and 88fps average vs 3090 with 58fps min and 78fps avg.

Who's the king and BFGPU now *****?:D:p

I think they're talking about the 6800xt... unless AMD have already sent them the 6900xt too.

Ugly. Me too can't wait for the 18th.
With Nvidia announcing their Smart Access Memory implementation on Ampere and it seems that their is not platform limited I am curios about this and after Big Navi launch and more credible information about Nvidia S.A.M I will make my choice.

Theoretically it's the same. Add 50% more 5700nonXT performance to the graph above for the 6800XT 1440p ultra. It gives us 57 min 75 max. So it is about equal to 3090 (59min 78max) for the half amount of money! 3080 has no chance.
