Sell all of them, get a modern CPU/RAM and an RX 480 until Vega is out.

That motherboard is listed as xfire compatible.
The second slot will only run at 4x speed . I have read many articles about running at 4x speed for xfire with very minimal difference to running the second slot at 8x speed. I have seen benchmarks where the actuall impact on performance is anywhere from 2-10% .

I would be more worried about your psu though. With a 5820 and 2 r9 290s ( all at stock ) my rig was pulling 640watts while running 3D mark . When gaming my rig at the time was pulling about 530 watts . You should be using at least an 850ish one... but you will get away with a 750w once your not doing anything mad .

put the card in the other slot and see what happens.

    Have fun.

You wouldn't really get much better scaling with both cards, compared to the 295x2 alone. You might be better off selling both right now, when someone might still be willing to buy them, and buy a 1070/1080. Or wait for Vega.
