    Sure :)

Have just noticed a slight issue - I'm idling right now at 90... :/

This is my Valley result with 2 7970 oced non GHZ. I wonder if something is holding your cards back.
It might be that with higher settings, it is when they start showing their muscles. Btw do you CFX those cards for 1080p?

Yeh I've stopped using GPU-Z, however CCC doesent report the 2nd card's...anything actually, which is annoying!

Yeh your valley result is higher for sure, not sure what could be holding me back, or wether as you say a higher rez req. - Atm I use 1080p - may change that soon though. Only got CFX as cards before this were 780's (changed due to fed up with nvidias drivers, I do have to say everythings been 100% stable so far)

    More benchs:
3dmark 11: (seems correct, close to the guru3d review)

You dont see the second card because it is off when not gaming. You can disable that by turning off ULPS.

My cards are heavily oced so that s why I have those numbers. Your second score is better.

    Extreme HD score

he ran it at the same setting as the dude we are trying to help.
the extreme valley score is less than 300 points higher than my 680`s
OP Are you using on screen display (afterburner) to show gpu clocks and temps on screen?

Well Hilberts review gets only slightly higher than my score, using a hex core - so, it would seem correct.

That said, the only score of mine that lines up close to "other peoples" would be 3dmark 11 - so, not sure why that'd be.

I do have to admit my case airflow is, well, awful. Rebuilding it with a new case on Tuesday - so, that might help with the airflow / temps a little.

I set the same settings as he did. Actually my regular settings are Ultra, 2560x1600 and 4xMSAA.

AMD decided to make a very low fan speed profile.. At 20-25% by 80-70C it cools down for ~10min until it drops to low 42ish C.

Try to tweak fan profile a bit, maybe set min @ 25% and load @ 45-50%.

With which program? :p - sorry, It's been a long time since I used AMD/ATI!

But at the moment they've cooled back down, before the core clock speeds had stayed at 1000mhz, rather than clocking down

msi after burner, I asked if your fans were at 100% on the last page, if your fan % is very low you are going to have high temps and throttling

it should perform nearly the same ( its just a cable ), im sorry i cant find a link for a shop right now, but with some research you should find it. Thoses pieces are common, but in general only for professional system, so not all shops got them.

As for the other discussion, understand that Powertune use temp target as a main point, so if it is set at 95°C, it will use it as a point to achieve, before reduce clockspeed, or modifiy the fanspeed.... I can understand this temp can look high, but this is part of system, and it is not a problem...
