After using this driver for a few days after unwinder fixed some issues with afterburner, I have found that performance on games is crap compared to 17.7.1

GTA5 stuck at 40fps when it's normally a flat 60fps, ME:A weird fluctuations around 45-60-45-60 and so on, my pro on Fifa 17 clubs feels like a tank and cant even hold 60fps using radeon pro

17.7.1 and earlier are all fine

I guess it is finally the end of the road for my trusty although baked 280 ... looking at a 580 or 1060 6gb if prices for RX cards are still stupid

Try to uninstall ReLive if you are not using it and reboot. It helps sometimes.

GPU doesn't save my voltage set. Always backs to 1.150V which is higher than default setting :|

FYI : It seems that the new updated AMD API breaks backward compat with AB... Rolled back to 17.7.1 (better perf.) & updated AB behaves the same as it did running 17.7.2 prior to AB API update (no clocks show or apply)...

@Unwinder, is it possible to have old & new API compatability within AB & selectable dependent on requirement (a bit like unofficial switch) for cases where a driver rollback or change for various reasons may be neccessary? or even AB scans current gpu driver API on startup & auto selects the appropriate internal API. (removes user error on selecting).

    Peace peeps

    EDIT
    ====

Installed AB 440 beta 16 & seems to have solved the issue, clocks working good in both 17.7.1 & 17.7.2

    Top job @Unwinder

Voltage readings and control not in Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16

Does anyone else have problems with unlocking the voltage slider with Afterburner ?

Am running 6 MSI RX570 Gaming with MSI Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16 and MSI Afterburner won't let me control voltages even after I unlock it in the settings . (grayed out everytime and shows 0 reading) . It doesn't even seem to get the voltage readings for that matter ...

    Stuck with Wattman atm :|

Support for OverDrive Next X2 is partially implemented since Beta 15 and it's working fine.

    Please read forums before posting.

@Tripton: Was voltage regulation working on previous versions of MSI AB?

None of the sliders was working on MSI AB 15, MSI AB Beta 16 fixed all except for the voltage slider.

Didn't try on other MSI Afterburn versions or drivers, it's a new rig and went with 17.7.2 from the beginning .

To make things even worst, Wattman doesn't seem able to keep the manual voltage values I add and after a few hours eventually goes from 0.95 back to 1.13 mv.

OK, what's the voltage regulator on that particular RX 570? What's the exact card model or do you have P/N of that card?

Appears that the enable/disable crossfire option is now gone with these drivers? I no longer have the option under "preferences"??

It has been in Gaming > Global Settings since the first Crimson driver.

Well, I've searched a web and I found that voltage regulation is not supported on this model because MSI is using some cheap voltage regulators. Sorry mate, it seems you won't be able to change voltage via MSI AB on this.

    Maybe Unwinder could clarify this.

I've reported same issue earlier on this thread http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=5456726&postcount=190, and also on another forum, and to AMD via their report form.

On my end it will "reset" to 1.175volts instead of the configured one.
    Rolled back to 17.6.2.

    - the preferences option relates to the appearance of the User Interface
    - crossfire is normally switched in and out as necessary via the profiles
    - you can also set it manually in Gaming/Global Settings options
