Out of curiosity, are you still rocking r9 380? When are you going to switch to something else and what gpu do you plan to switch to?

It is incredible that 380 is still capable running todays games at decent quality. I remember HU review of 380 vs gtx960 revisit and it was a bloodbath.

Yeah im still rocking a gigabyte r9 380 - no bugs with drivers - im holding to see the new generation from Radeon.

Otherwise i will go for 5500 XT, depends on prices.

It is a shame that we don't get such great value today at the 200 EUR / US-$ price level.

Actually we kinda have: rx580. Its rated price on launch was 215usd/eur if i remember correctly. Mining craze did what it did to it but this gpu has a lot of power and its price makes it even better card.

Any ETA for a new driver? Tech goes on. HDR apps, Windows 10 versions, games, etc. I cannot believe last WHQL (recommended) is still WDDM 2.6 form AMD.

^^ 20.5.1 WDDM 2.7 is WHQL then 20.7.1 is also WHQL.
    Stay positive bro :)

Does anyone else find that Radeon Image Sharpening doesn't work in some games? I couldn't get it to work in Control or Gravel. Sometimes it works in Control if I disable Radeon Chill before launching the game, but other times that doesn't work either. Not sure why certain games refuse to use RIS. Gravel looks so soft.

Those are not my words. AMD says "Recommended" a driver from April. Not eligible for 2004 officially. We are at the end of July. I hope for a proper recommended 20.8.1.

Well I don't want to grind any gears.... but if a recommendation from your fellow Guru3d colleagues + confirmation of WHQL certification is not enough for you.... and you rely on a silly recommendation from AMD's website... then I can only say - good luck on waiting :D and no offence ;)

Yup. Collecting crashlogs and system specs... Cause you know... some users have only bi**ed about unstable drivers but did nothing or submitted trash reports.
(and yeah, I am fine with it too).
