    About FreeSync.

Guys try to use it with support of the CRU.
Set all values like in monitor specs + FreeSync Range 30,35 or little more up to desired Refresh rate.
I have it at 30-75FPS (monitor is at 71Hz).

All Auto or Default is an always no go in my book ;) (Yes it includes BIOS etc.)

I mean PDF or Monitor Model from manufacturer site.
    H & V Rate

    e.g for my Monitor:
DP FreeSync H=30-115 V=48-70 | DP no Freesync H=30-89 V=50-75 (Yes 2 sets of values)

    Set this in CRU
    Digital Signal Frequency : (H) 30 ~180 KHz / (V) 48 ~144 Hz
Try to OC FS to 30 or 35 and 144

Im 90% Positive that You can do alot in this Monitor.
    PS.
Also You can try to set (V) like this 30-144Hz ;) then the same values for FS range.
If 30 will not work as it should, put 35-144Hz....

Wow, it's nearing the end of the month. I thought 20.6.1 would have dropped by now.

Maybe AMD wants to implement that WDDM 2.7 hardware scheduling function for the next release driver?
Several bug fixes appeared in that WSL driver but that's more for developers or something like a preview I suppose, not sure if it supports all of what the new Windows fast-ring build and the Linux additions provide but it supports the feature itself.

A reduction of some of the longer pending issues would be nice too but anything could happen for the next main release driver I guess.
Maybe it'll just appear tomorrow or early next week ha ha.

I know what they are doing, they want to release the Hardware Scheduling version for the 20.7.1 to coincide with their 7.7 festivities

Never had issues on my 5700XT except with OC'ing of course. Each driver iteration needs to be slapped with another OC through WattMan and I'm off..

Seems like amd re-released 20.5.1 with added initial support for hardware scheduling.

With that driver on my rx580 installer returns error 182 which is related to unsupported gpu, that's odd.
