Dont worry, its because its for pure gaming. LOL
Do a clean install after DDU...im on 1903 + 19.5.2 everything is working/opening fine.
I did an in-place upgrade to 1903 on my AMD laptop and Radeon settings is working fine for me on this driver.
I've never even used DDU in years, except when I was daring enough to install a driver AMD didn't officially support on my laptop.
That started around a month ago I think in Nightly and users started reporting it in Beta 4 which just released (so obviously not on release version) but not seeing in previous betas along with it occurring on Nvidia systems. 1 user claims updating to Windows Release Preview build .145 fixes it. I haven't updated but I think it's fixed (or at least less noticeable) since the first Nightly build on the 25th of May. Either way, I don't think it has anything to do with AMD.
I did it twice already. Im gonna back to 19.5.1 then
Well now if that is the case then it should indeed be unrelated to the display drivers, was thinking it could have been linked to the render improvements in Firefox also going into enabled for AMD hardware as a default setting but HW acceleration in browsers seem to be going from working to problematic for both AMD and NVIDIA between Firefox and Chrome and I'm guessing the other major parties too so nothing new.
But no the memory leakage here is likely unrelated to the drivers from that then, good to know when it cropped up first and that also excludes the 19.5 drivers from having a role in it if it's from April somewhere around a month ago.
Hah, It must be windows related or something other. Radeon Settings don't work for me on every 19.4 and 19.5 versions. Im gonna check what's going on.
WU installed 17.7.1, Radeon Settings works.
I noticed every drivers without working Radeon Settings is recognized as %2.
From left. 19.3.3, 19.1.1, 19.4.1, 19.5.2, every described as % 2
Nice one Microsoft.
Are the radeon settings laggy for you too?
Try English version instead of Polish one.
Then set PL in Settings.... Windows can have non native characters bug.
1903 is a little buggy.... But blazing Fast
No its not. Never was.
Finally got working Radeon Settings.
Remove AMD driver AND Intel iGPU driver.
Make sure your GPU is uninstalled in device manager, here was still R9 Fury
Install latest Intel iGPU driver.
Run older AMD Driver installed (i used 19.3.3 but i think it doesn't matter which older) and click on "Optional" driver. It will download "new installer" and voila, Radeon Settings is back again.
Hello i know there was some heated talk about the Radeon settings lite but i still need some help about this.
I have the latest driver installed without the radeon settings and then i tried to download the lite edition from the store but it shows error downloading code :0x803FB005
Also the one from the adguard store with the appx file doesnt install through powershell with error 0x80073CFD
WIndows 10 1903 updated
HD 7850 2gb
Exactly the same with me, even on PC with AMD HD 7750, even for laptop with RX550 (and integrated R7)
I read a discussion on 'Lite' some months back (can't remember where), but I got the impression that it was for drivers installed from windows update (and maybe for use on IP builds ?).
This article might have some use https://www.nag.co.za/2019/01/07/am...-what-are-these-and-why-should-you-want-them/
Upgraded to 1903 and 19.5.2 on Friday and no issues so far. There are no lags or stuttering in Radeon Settings for me.
YES, THANK YOU!
Radeon full adware settings. The way it meant to be bloated.
Radeon Settings are automatically installed on a clean system if you only install latest driver.
It is just the way it is distributed, like the netflix app.
I can't stand noob fanboys saying radeon settings full it isn't laggy. It is stuttering compared to lite. YOU NEVER USED IT. YOU NEVER USED LITE VER AND YOU DO TALK. GET A LIFE.
Next time you defend full suite of radeon settings I am gonna report you. Really can't stand lies.
Even Hilbert said that advisor is an unnecessary move from AMD. It suggests you only to buy latest AMD hardware depending on each game requirements. Marketing move nonetheless.
You are in guru3d and you need game settings advisor? Really? You are pros huh? I am GTFO.
Could you chill the heck down a bit and talk to other people in a civil tone, please?
Fingers crossed for a 19.5.3 game ready driver for ACC in time for the May 29th release.
