Thanks, works a treat!
Everything is enjoyable. Now I also do not need reshade anymore. RIS at 10% only (minimum), anti-lag and max very high settings globally with all performance optimizations disabled, give me the ultimate image quality and game experience. I am happy to ditch all injections and 3rd party tools.
Meanwhile for me, the default fan curve goes straight to 70% fan speed when I start a game.
It isnt a best solution when you have a slower cpu.
Streaming tab don't appear. Reinstall 2 times and nothing.
19.12.2. shuts rx 5700 xt off gone back to 19.12.1 pfft
Do AMD actually test the drivers at all ????
this crap driver crashes after launching Wasteland 2 DC, back to 19.2.1, at least I want see all those crap flashing on every fullscreen thing I run.
Is anyone CPU heating up more with these drivers?
The drivers works amazing, better framerates, smooth gameplay. but i could be wrong seems like my cpu heats up a bit more.
Relive does not give you input lag and turning Relive on and off gives me a 1fps difference.
I found it all works better except when it shut gpu off didnt look at cpu temp
Is that issue solved?
AMD Radeon VII may experience elevated memory clocks at idle or on desktop.
Seems like it was the game i was playing and it went away , my cpu might need some more paste on it anyway. But i haven't had any GPU shutting down, so far the drivers are working wonderful.
I hate the new interface.... it's too apple /metro like. Give me a basic freaking app to change game settings UGH
I dont know, feels like too much buttons and unnecesary things on the screen.
Makes my RX 580 nitro+ 8GB jump the GPU clocks at random speeds every second.
Makes Memory Speed at 1000mhz when browsing.
No more stuttering in The Outer Worlds
ill make a test.
Man I have no clue what's going on. My temps were north of 70C. Well above what I normally see when playing Modern Warfare (55c to 60C using default settings). And, there's some odd graphical glitching whenever I move the mouse too in the main menu (doesn't happen in a match though). I made sure that Boost is disabled but here we are.
So, unless I miss my guess, there is not only no more global wattman settings but, no wattman settings at all, right? I see settings for each individual game which probably works good but, what about a global performance setting? I really did not use Wattman much anyways, since it never saved the settings when using Windows fast boot.
Edit: Nevermind, it is on the Performance tab and then tuning.
Its actually faster than the old interface, at first i was like this feels odd, but after taking the time fix everything, change settings, i am enjoying it and its better than the old one.
Anyone else getting this message when you run the app "Videotrim.exe has stopped working"?
Disable Overlay (always) then Alt-Tab.
One click only
Can you tell if Boost is working? like with Anti-lag you could press Ctrl+Alt+L and then atleast have the green dot in the corner tell its on, or press again and get a fps counter.
I still get crashes with RX 580 even after swapping the card with my brother (not just this driver), generally not when actually high demand gaming, but for example was playing Mechwarrior 5, past the first level, then on a 2D screen where I selected salvage rewards and.... blarhhhhh hard crash/lockup. Doesnt crash when just in windows or web browsing.
For my Vega 64 is fixed.
