    Mantle driver is not missing, Beyond Earth (Mantle) still works well for me.

    I like that amd now in changelog provides also hardware specification and settings at which they measured performance gains, that's really informative. For my R9 380 this driver maybe will do absolutely nothing but i still update just to keep up with latest version.

    Any brave soul who could add support via modding inf. file for Ryzen 2200/2400 GPUs?
    As some games can't be started

    A step in the right direction for AMD, with clear statements to gains and issues in the past couple of drivers.

    Will provide feedback soon on FFXV performance, once done installing this.

    You too shall see gains in Dota 2, it's just that they used the RX 580 as a baseline. The gains, however, will vary depending on configurations.

    What do they mean by "Support for: Final Fantasy® XV"? What is there to support for? Game was playable before. Especially when we have this: "Final Fantasy® XV may experience minor stutter during some particle effects. A workaround is to disable the "Geomapping" setting in game.". Known issues list doesn't look good.

    Support means an optimized profile for the game probably.

    Hmm, it seems it's something like "GameReady" vague statement from competition.

    BTW., 18.3.1 includes some optimizations from ReSX program/project

    17.50.27 over 17.50.25 for the driver version so some tweaking there I guess. March 2nd for these and February 19th for the previous set.

    Crossfire profile changes:

    World of Tanks - Updated.
    Star Wars Battlefront 2 - Updated.
    Middle Earth Shadow of War - Updated.
    Sea of Thieves - Updated.

    Conan Exiles - Added.
    Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition - Added.
    Final Fantasy XV Benchmark - Added.
    Vermintide 2 - Added.

    DXX profile changes:

    Autodesk 3D Studio Max - Updated.
    Grand Theft Auto 5 - Updated.
    DOTA 2 - Updated.
    Final Fantasy 15 - Added. (Yeah it's called XV for the Crossfire profile, 15 for the DXX one.)

    PXDynamic profile changes: (HighPerfGPUAffinity)

    Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Added.

    The crossfire profile for Final Fantasy XV is only for the Steam version it seems.

    <application Title="Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition" File="ffxv_s.exe">
    <use Area="CFX">Final Fantasy XV Windows EditionProfile</use>
    </application>
    <application Title="Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition" File="SteamAppId:637650">
    <use Area="CFX">Final Fantasy XV Windows EditionProfile</use>
    </application>

    (It's _o for Origin and I think it's _UWP or some such for Win10 Store.)

    DXX profile adds a joker / asterix to catch all.

    <application Title="Final Fantasy 15" File="ffxv.exe">
    <use Area="DXX">Final Fantasy 15Profile</use>
    </application>
    <application Title="Final Fantasy 15" File="ffxv_*.exe">
    <use Area="DXX">Final Fantasy 15Profile</use>
    </application>

    As a R9 290 owner, I pretty much feel the same way. I hate doing updates when I don't know what I'm getting out of it, especially when they're as bloated as Windows GPU drivers. I'll update even though I'm not likely to get any performance enhancements anymore (since the GCN architecture is pretty much obsoleted). But, since I don't boot into Windows often or play games when they're still new enough to cost $50+, I've pretty much only been doing updates if I have time to kill or if I'm listening to something in the background.

    Welcome .
    I have question : We see change in FF15 and Dota2 .It is only 2-3 game improve ? ...AMD working for better experience in more Games?For example in past when AMD relase new driver the list of games was long ?
    I play in ACorigin and I'm interested if the game works better with New 18.3.1 driver ?

    Not sure why you guys thing they don't provide updates to GCN, GCN is still a large player pool base. just looking at notes from some recent releases (3 months ago) mention GCN updates and even a HD7900!

    https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-ar...mson-relive-edition-17.2.1-release-notes.aspx

    I mean the 290x is a definition of fine wine when it comes to evolving performance updates.. the 290x was slower then the 780 Ti at release and is now around 15% faster now. so i think GCN is still in the minds of AMD driver team.
