    • Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.
At this point it's been so long they may aswell just remove the damn option from Radeon setting as looks like they're never going to fix this problem

Sadly I agree about enhanced sync. It works but been this long in issue, do something about it.

The only game I have issues with Enhanced Sync is Fallout 4, the others I play seem to work fine, I leave It on by default. Will test If the Black Screen when I connect the monitor via DVI to my Vega 64 is fixed since AMD changed something in 21.6.1 and somehow screw it up.

The problem I have with Enhanced Synch in Fallout 4 is that, sometimes, it will behave itself and the framerate will peak at the monitor's refresh rate throughout the session. (I use the HDMI input, which on that particular monitor will keep the game at a max of 70 FPS, which is not too far off Bethesda's target of 60.)

However, sometimes I'll experience what I call a "Ghouls Gone Wild!" phenomena, and the framerate rockets to 110 or so. That, at least for me, creates so much turmoil with the game's physics, along with things like turbo-enemies and hyper-sensitive lockpicking, I just immediately shut it down and do a restart. This happens with Polaris cards, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it using RDNA, too. A restart always seems to fix it for me.

As an aside, I always feel like Captain Ahab in Moby Dick, forever chasing the White Whale that is Fallout 4's various issues, seemingly without end.

Great, a new driver to mess with, but running Doom Eternal with RT enabled looks interesting. Wait a sec, do we need to wait for Doom Eternal to be updated to support Vulkan RT?

Eh, as for Enhanced Sync, I've never bothered with it so I dunno if it works properly or not....I'll install this for my main rig since it's the only one capable of RT.
