The human eye can't differentiate frames per second anyway. Either the image looks smooth, or it doesn't....and it's all subjective. What's "smooth" to one person, may not be to another.
The i5 3570K will be "on par" at default clocks. In gaming, HyperThreading will provide little to no performance benefit though. Once overclocked, the i5 3570K should easily outperform the Xeon E3-1230V2 in most, if not all games...
