AMD starting today, lowers the small form factor Radeon R9 Nano price to 499 USD (was 649 USD). A pretty nice price-cut if you ask me. We have a review on this product right here....

Nice price cut indeed but card stills stays relevant only in Mini-ITX cases. Alot to choose from at that price range.

Was looking at the prices on overclockers.co.uk and some other sites the other day and have noticed the Nano is only £20 more expensive than the normal cut down Fury which to me doesn't make any sence at all, might as well pick up the Nano really the cut down fury is too expensive atm.

I may pick one up for my Mac Pro. The only thing stopping me from getting the Fury X in the past was the cooler not fitting in the Mac Pro, however the Nano fixes that issue.

I'd advise against it. There haven't been any working Fiji cards on OS X (sadly).

I hardly run Os X so I just planned on putting in a smaller cheaper card along side it for the main display for Os X. I usually run Windows for Steam streaming and NAS operations now. :D

Surprised no Fiji framebuffer yet though...Though 11.3 would bring it for sure.

yes the price it should have at the start or at least before xmas... but sadly with winter sale the GTX 980 is around 400 until march.

good move but too late i think...

    Advice against it #2:

Fiji cards has such uefi rom (if has, might miss it) that makes it unfriendly to macpro, literally can't even boot to windows. You will have to remove uefi part from rom if present.

This is what it should have been at release. But compared to the GTX 980 it's a no-brainer really.

Thanks Netkas! Did not know that, glad I didn't buy it then!

This man has saved me numerous hours in the past years with his Os X knowledge. :D

^ they were cheaper here in Canada too right at launch but the Canadian and Australian dollars have tanked vs the US dollar since then.

In the UK the Nano is now slightly cheaper than a 9800GTX, £399 Vs £419, but the confusing thing is the Fury (cut down version) is £429 how on earth is a crippled Fury more expensive than a fully enabled one LOL. The crippled one needs a price drop, it's way too expensive. Then again they do have a huge cooler on them.
