I really like my h100i CPU cooler, much better than my old on air Noctua d12, longevity may be an issue but by that time.........hopefully
Not bashing AMD in particular I'm just bored of waiting and losing interest fast. Nvidia have managed to give a release date of the 980ti and send review samples out already yet AMD have another rendered teaser of it with no confirmation whether the release in June is just a paper launch or an actual hardware release. Also since we've no way of telling it's performance yet so it's hard to remain pumped about it with such little information. Do I want the card to be good hell yes, but more than that I'd like to see it being released this side of summer.
This Hamster Box looks so cute, I now want to have one even more. Nice Design this time around. Edit: It seems that actually showing product even on crappy photo is better than some official PR stunts.
eh looks cool, sure most say man nvidia give eta on there 980ti which is going to cost you buy junkies 780-800+ so wile they take a trip thanks to all that money they got from 980ti there next gpus are in the works then everyone is going to say fml, this amd video is eh i dont care if they are rehashed with lower tdp, cant wait to see the specs. p.s amd dont pull the nvidia 970 4gb
AMD PR seems to go minimalistic way with videos: New 30s PR battery life video... https://twitter.com/amd
I do want to see AMD releasing a really powerful card to compete with nVidia (even though i always had nV cards) just to see some competition and, hopefully, price drop (wishful thinking) as they have gone a bit too far with GPU pricing. I do hope that 390x will come with air cooling, as if it will only be liquid cooled it show's that AMD cannot cope with the heat that their GPU's produce. They did have quite some issues that 290/290x showed with their stock (i emphasise STOCK) cooling, which was quite "crap", in my opinion. And they are not going for a power saving (as if ppl (including myself) who buy top GPU's care about it ) as the card in the pics shows a dual 8-pin connector. I guess only time will tell, but i do hope AMD comes out with something very impressive.
Teasers should be prohibited by the law if you're 9 months(970/980 launch) - 1.5 year (Maxwell launch) LATE, and you're about to do a relaunch of ancient tech.
When is AMD going to stop and give us real information on the card? Hell, Nvidia is rumored to be announcing the Geforce GTX 980 Ti next week at computex with release soon after. All we've gotten from AMD is teaser after teaser and the announcement that the 3xx series is just rebrands.
Welcome to the AMD Idiot's Guide to Marketing. EDIT: If you do not have anything creditable to say, just dazzle with BS.
AMD were supposed to show at Computex, but seen as the 980 Ti is now showing, the've bottled out, pushed back to the 16th June now.
You can show me all the videos you want , but this will no effect on me until i see benchmarks , and still then the card might be the mutts nutts but without proper driver support it all means nothing .
