If you haven't got new product, post teaser videos, and then announce an old product with a new name.
It amazes me to see all this bad PR recently. pCARS, TW3, now AMD. Sometimes it's better just to be quiet. Seriously, I feel like these companies think we're idiots. It's insulting.
Statistically they would be true, 90~95% of people can be fanaticized quite easily. And just because it is boring form of PR, it does not mean it has no effect.
Just release the damn thing already... They have teased us long enough. At least the GTX 980 Ti will be released really soon (and I'm 110% sure that Hilber has one already).
It has no effect on me. If it effects idiots, good, but that still doesn't effect me. You could say that AMD win idiots over doing this kind of PR, but they also loose me and many others as their potential future customer. This is not an anti AMD rant btw, this goes out to every PR machine that tries to treat me as a yokel.
Wow, that's like saying 2016 will come after 2015. I, for one, don't care for small teases or rumors, either deliver the product or nothing.

Really? Can you just atleast once be little more enthusiastic by AMD? All your comments are bashing, hating and criticising. Do us a favor and stick to nvidia threads.
