I managed to add StarCraft 2 in the library, by following this guide.

    The files contain this:

    {"baa346d1dd67306d8d28ef9bc8f0890f": "C:/Games/StarCraft II"}

The game gets detected, it even records, but even with the overlay on, it only captures audio -.-

    Really?

    Exactly where in the team?

    In a closet? :bang:

Why they shutdown a usefull software like RadeonPRO hiring his dev and never adding its features to make CraPtr a usefull software and not a bloated crapware with twitch abbilities?

From his tweets I would guestimate that he is handling the GVR recording part, which incidentally would be the only part Raptr I care about.

I don't mind it, but the reality for me is I don't use it really. I have played around with it and it could well be quite handy for some people, same goes for NVidia's tool I have it it installed but I don't use it.

Having just jumped to AMD and trying it out, i kinda think its OK in some areas - but it seems i have the black screen recording issue (if i record a replay, i get audio and nothing but a black video). Shame really, i liked the idea of having a replay function.

Not really to bothered with it being a selectable option during installation.

They give you a choice if you select custom, so I don't consider them forcing it on you. The Raptr app itself is forceful though. It wants to stay on your computer.

It's awesome that nobody speaks about the black screen. The damn thing is trully useful for the recording, and it f*cks it up.

When I install a game, I sometimes open Raptr to optimize the graphics settings before tweaking them myself, just so I have a starting point. I close Raptr after that's done though.

this, I like the game dvr feature but I'd like raptr a lot more if it was slimmed down and removed the social nonsense.

It's bloated, ugly, distracting and doesn't even suggest good settings.

I would appreciate a super-slim program, with just a list of games + their current and advised settings.

Advised settings would have to come from AMD, I guess. Or set up some strict guidelines for the community and let users submit optimal settings.

I un-installed it awhile back. Its not that it didn't work, but are the settings mainly for running at 1080p? There are no recommended settings I can see for either 144hz or 4k. I use Afterburner with Quicksync to record so I didn't need it to record either.

But RadeonPRO is essential for gamers using Radeons -> head shot was to discontinue it :3eyes:
nV gamer has constant updates to nV inspector :nerd: and its nice

man im staring to sound like a broken record..

    RP hasnt gone anywere.

Its alive, fully functional, and will recieve updates as needed for broken features when the dev has time.

Its just not getting any new features for the foreseeable future.

I don't like the Raptr APP installing with the drivers but i do use it

TBH the only reason I use it is to try to earn enough points to get a 360x when they add that lol.

I DELETE the WHOLE Raptr folder before clicking next in the install program.
I start the driver update/install program and then goto C:\AMD\DriverVersionFolder\Packages\Apps and DELETE Raptr, WirelessDisplay64, USB3DD folders then there is NO chance of it acidently installing even if you unselect it like it had when it was first forced upon us.
