I'm still waiting for the performance figures...hoping this is an Intel crusher like the Athlon 64 of old.

Also, spelling error you may want to correct:

why? bulldozer is the name of the architecture, Zambezi is the core name of the high-end cpu's that are called AMD FX (like the old AMD Athlon FX64), which are 8 and 4 core cpu's with multi unlocked..

can't wait for some reviews..8 core cpu for me, can't wait..

Not a fan of either version of the box art.

The 'arrow' version looks like a 5 yar old put it together, and the 'splash' version just doesn't seem like there's a processor inside.

I much rathered their Phenom II box art.

so many cores on cpu's these days yet so little in the way for programs us more then 2 cores let alone 4 or 6 or 8. Maybe the software end should catch up to the hardware end.

No point in have so many cores if more then half them or sitting there twiddling there thumbs. But then if this CPUs are cheaper then the intel counterpart which same performance then no one would care. Either Way software needs to catch up to the hardware and it rather slow at catch up too.
