    They also had some HP servers... just sampling so far (AMD didn't announce any launch customers).

    Isn't SPECint open source? Why didn't they just compile it themselves?

    In short, the scores were just guesstimates and not real testing.... not sure what they hoped to accomplish by this.

    Idk, I guess their "guesstimate" numbers are in line with the GCC results, it's just a really bad way to handle the marketing aspect of it - they could have explained it with a stacked chart or something and not some one off end note.

    Especially since the Intel compiler will be much faster than what is shown.
