Not on the R9 290/290X/390/390X cards.
Yep, this software is miles better even for Hawaii/Grenada cards.
@Romulus: What kind of issues do you have with these?
If your pc shuts down by itself that means something is overheating, check your temps. Either that or PSU.
Come on AMD give us 290/390 owners working drivers !! :bang:
Did they just release new drivers with the same name? .... 16.12.2, release date: 1/9/2017
file name: win10-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-relive-16.12.2-jan3.exe
Yes. Same for Win7 and I am sure 8.x. Installing now.
Release note are the same. Download link files all added jan3.
I have seen this happen a number of times...driver name stayed the same but the release date changed....no one has ever been able to explain it over the last couple of years.
Usually it is within a few days of the original release date..not a month later.
Screen shot with the update driver
Interesting. I got this for "Radeon Settings Version":
Edit: ah ok, your edit is new and now matches mine.
I have issues these days making images actually appear...your audio driver is different but to be expected since you are on a 7000 series and I have a RX 480
looks like they added some bugfix for Advanced Settings Damn you, I just got everything stable here
When you say advanced settings...what exactly are you referring to?
In any event my 4k TV just got a new pixel format choice an additional YCbCr.
Also, they're 496MB, 120MB larger file compared to the previous version (x64, win10).
Did they unify win 7-8-10 packages?
No unify. For the Win7 download that has that specifically in the name, it is actually some MB smaller. I RAR the files for storage. The older one was about 473 MB and now this one is about 469 MB.
So are these drivers actually "new" or just official now?
Has anyone tested to see if they still have the secondary display/mem clock screen flicker issue?
On AMD site. It has today release date. But since no one took a picture of the Dec driver 16.2.2 drivers. I dont know what they change. shrug. (I am using nvidia card.)
Thanks, that was most helpful and informative.
Paging JonasBeckman to do you magical driver compare and let us plebes know what is going on.
i just got an notification there is a new drivers available
Yep, January 3rd now in the file name.
EDIT: These are new, I think?
And for the ReLive Known Issues section this was removed as it's now listed as fixed.
"Radeon ReLive Overlay/Toolbar will not launch or Record when running League of Legends™ in Administrator Mode and Windowed Borderless Fullscreen."
