    I'm so glad i saw this :

    "Moving installer window during install process may cause installer window to flicker/move around the screen"

    Does this happen for anyone here? Its really bad when my mouse polling rate is set to 500 or 1000. At 125hz, the installer window doesn't flicker so much.

    I noticed the same flickering/moving around the screen happens when dragging the Ryzen Master installer around the desktop too. :/

    System specs :

    Ryzen 3700X
    x570 aorus master motherboard
    16gb ddr4 dual channel
    Msi 2080ti trio (tested another graphics card, Gt710 same flickering)
    Razer deathadder mouse (although i tested another mouse too, Razer Chroma, same flickering)

    Yep.... Had that issue earlier this evening.... Right up until the installer window decided to completely disappear....

    Installed fine for me including gpio (had 124 before now 126). It did however change my windows power plan to min cpu to 90%. Changed it back and all fine.
    I don't get the installer either, it's a marketing thing to people who ALREADY have Ryzen! But no harm so good : /

    Doesn't matter, because Ryzen2 has it's own Downclock routine.
    I have it at 1% -> and it can downclock even to Sleep (0 state) or 565MHz.

    It's working fine for earlier Zen uArch.

    Note:
    We can monitor this with use of the Ryzen Master.

    it does matter.
    ryzen balanced sets 90% min because it gets rapid tiny tasks done faster.

    It doesn't matter. Ryzen can change frequency fast enough for it not to matter at all. Allowing it to clock down further, improves power consumption at idle. Conveniently, AMD has the "on battery" minimum processor state at 5%, so obviously they don't actually see an issue with the CPU downclocking that far.....

    I run mine at w/e is the per plan default, no problems and cores boost to max, sleep and everything in between fine.

    Also I tried changing min. state in the past and don't think it actually made much if any difference (3800X).

    Popped these on a few days ago, and they went in fine, including the GPIO driver, having no issues at all, just installed over the top of my old ones.

    i can only update one GPIO device, it will show a question mark if i update it with the same driver as the first one. and the first one is done manually. the installer installs the 2.1 one

    EDIT: Same driver version changes as the above driver via Asrock. :)

    So

    1.0.0.76 -> 1.0.0.80 for the PCI Device
    1.2.0.99 -> 1.2.0.102 for the I2C
    4.11.0.0 -> 4.13.0.0 for the PSP
    1.2.0.47 -> 1.2.0.48 for the IOV
    1.0.25.0 -> 1.0.26.0 for the MicroPEP

    EDIT: Digitally signed April 28th.

    May 4th for the Asrock ones not that it means much, a bunch of installer fixes and the actual components in the two packs are the same far as I can see.

    Digitally signed May 27th, probably from some motherboard manufacturer for now until there's a new version on AMD's website. Via Station-Drivers.
    https://www.station-drivers.com/ind...tory&Itemid=352&func=fileinfo&id=4515&lang=en

    So take the RTF doc and compare that and that's this.

    [IMG]

    New version of AMD's power plans. (Up from 5.0.0.0)
    Gigabit Ethernet driver included.
    No PT GPIO or MicroPEP driver.

    (When compared against the above image or from AMD's website. https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-ryzen-chipset-2-04-28-626 )

    @JonasBeckman wasn't that driver released before the current one from AMD, and has the same components, just different version number?

    Ah I noticed a message during installation as well, that's the PCI Express driver and if that's the same then if you open the log it should have a path error for that component. :)

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\AMD\Chipset_Driver_Installer\AMD_Chipset_Drivers\{3029049E-E849-4CBB-BDCF-FB0E5A7505DF}\IODriver\PCI\PCI Driver\

    If the error message points to not finding the file it wants then that's due to a configuration error.

    AMD uses these two paths.

    W7x64
    WTx64

    The driver wants this one.

    Win10_RS5LTS

    So just make a copy of WTx64 and rename it Win10_RS5LTS and that takes care of it.
