    Maybe your system or theirs need a proper cleaning. Use TwL program or look for the Von mod pack or something like that.

    No issues here with a 5970. Best card I ve owned.

    Ah, right, CCleaner. =b
    Nope, that won't clean everything driver related.
    You still have to use TwL's or Von's.
    Personally I also use that other cleaner which name too forbidden to be mentioned, but it's optional.

    Personally I can't really help you any more than that, though; sorry. =/
    The lack of any multi GPU system around me isn't helping either.

    Stop flickering by running RadeonPro, forcing FEAR AA profile (not FeAR CFX profile), and also set to alternate frame rendering mode for increased performance.

    Crysis 2 just sucks on PC, its a 'consolified' game, which is a nice way of saying its been 'crappyfied'. I really hope after Battlefield 3 game developers strip games down for consoles, not just rely on new tech video cards to add a little extra niceness to console graphics.

    I have no problems running Crysis 2. Latest drivers and caps with Radeon Pro set to:

    Force CrossfireX Profile: AFR-Friendly D3D

    MVPUMODE: Alternate Frame Rendering

    CCC settings and Radeon Pro Global settings are:

    AA: use application settings

    AA Filter: Multisample

    AF: Application controlled

    default everything else. Except for optimizations which are all unchecked.

    My autoexec.cfg for Crysis 2:

    sys_spec_shading=3
    sys_spec_gameeffects=3
    sys_spec_objectdetail=3
    sys_spec_particles=3
    sys_spec_physics=3
    sys_spec_postprocessing=3
    sys_spec_shadows=3
    sys_spec_sound=3
    sys_spec_texture=3
    sys_spec_water=3
    g_skipIntro=1
    cl_fov=90
    pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov=90
    i_mouse_accel=0
    i_mouse_accel_max=100
    i_mouse_smooth=0
    r_motionblur=0
    g_radialBlur=0
    cl_zoomToggle=1
    r_UseEdgeAA=3
    r_TexMaxAnisotropy=16
    r_PostMSAA=0
    cl_crouchtoggle=1
    r_ColorGrading=1
    r_SSAO=1
    r_VSync=1
    e_shadows=1
    g_enableInitialLoginScreen=0
    r_HDRBloomMul=0
    r_HDRBrightLevel=0
    r_MultiGPU=1
    g_useHitSoundFeedback=1
    sys_MaxFps=120
    r_DrawNearFoV=90

    My FoV is set for 2560x1600 so adjust it for your resolution.

    Remember to adjust brightness everytime you load a game as it gets rid of any little flickering left for me. Up or down 5 in brightness wont make a difference in image so just do it :nerd:

    Let me know if that helps. Good luck.

    Try renaming Crysis2.exe to Rift.exe. Worked for me. 45-60fps running at Hardcore settings with 2 x 6870's. No flickering. Before I renamed it, the game was unplayable using latest drivers and CAPS.
