THANKS!!! no problem at all and satisfy with performance of new amd update
Follow up: I used my laptop for gaming always and I say WOW this amd update is perfect a huge performance increased in games like need for speed 2012,nba2k16 and GTA5... I am correct this is from microsoft driver update? this is one of best stable amd update i test... Again Thank you so much!!!
If you cleaned with DDU 22.214.171.124 , I would like to have a look at this log if it is possible. you can email it to me at email@example.com
I can't seem to install CCC that come with this driver.
I am curious what these reported performance improvements are in numbers? How much better? Overall smoothness? FPS? I will probably try them out myself tomorrow.
After updating over 15.9.1 (got bored to do everything from scratch 5 days after installing them), almost everything works fine.
CCC is missing the advanced options, but has retained all my custom settings (as far as I can tell) such as pixel color format, hdmi scaling, vsr etc, so no big deal.
Will test further and decide if it's worth doing a proper clean/installation.
I've had no joy at all with this driver and my MSI 290. The driver installs fine but I'm left with CCC containing no options as mentioned above. Changing to advanced view does not make a difference.
Doing the same just left me with power options, nothing else
EDIT: CSGO seems to have a lot of tearing and pretty poor performance.
I know this is a "stupid" question, but sometimes people forget:
After installing your driver through Device Manager... Are you guys going into the "B295223" folder and installing "ccc2_install"..?
The only reason I am not using these drivers is because Madvr isn't working with it (CCC is working fine with all the settings there). If anyone else has Madvr working, do let me know.
It seems the CCC is not showing all of the options that should be there, no matter if I use advanced view or not, that's so strange.
Yes, nothing changes after installing from there even (I can tell it installed ccc through device manager as I could see all the install exes).
sent two email, thanks
CCC has been installed but the options are missing. If I try the CCC version from 15.9.1 I just get an error about not having anything to manage.
it works fine on my 290x
Yes, I did the whole routine.
In fact, I've just finished a complete uninstall/wipe/install cycle but CCC still doesn't fully work (and to make things worse, after cleaning up all my previous settings have reverted to default and now I cannot set them the way I like).
No problems so far. Great driver.
solved my problem to install driver... it's better to explain to "expand" the cab file trough the expand command on CMD because unzipping it trough Windows 10 file manager does not extract the package in the right way.
Good driver no issues
Whatever method I tried didn't allow me to have full CCC control.
Back to 15.9.1
madVR works fine for me with these, and always has before.
Did you enable 'Advanced View' from the Preferences menu?
