Just did a clean reinstall as well but still no OpenCL for me. Win 8.1 though.
Win 10 Build 10135 and Powercolor R9 290 Turboduo here. I did not have open CL with a previous driver, don't remember which one. I fixed it by using a different set of drivers.
I'll try them anyway but just two questions:
Anyone tried to o/c with MSI AB on win10?
fix stuttering on witcher 3?
I really want to try these but 1023.5 is so stable
No VSR on 8.1 with these. The only driver that have vsr checkbox for me is 1023.0.
I think 1040 is now the best in drawcalls.
Win10, build 10130, HD7950:
Now for the o/c test...
edit: O/c works but it's a bit unstable. Frequency hops like crazy from 250 to 1150 (my max stable for the last two years) for no apparent reason.
But this driver is definitely a keeper.
Try https://mega.nz/ instead.
You might as well do it, as AMD aren't
VSR works for me under Win7.
MPC and VLC works in slow motion with this driver. With 1038 is ok. To bad because is a great driver in games.
No OpenCL but VSR is there. VCE still not functioning.
AMD are playing the slow game.
no open cl
mpc works in slow motion with this driver
DXVA is broken.
Oh I just checked VSR is in these for Win 10 ( I am on build 10135)
For VLC go to preferences then video then uncheck Use hardware YUV-->RGB conversions. Then everything plays fine. Can leave hardware acceleration enableb on the same page.
i'm so glad i can do a directx 12 feature API test on build 10130 now with this driver, and get better draw calls than mantle
I am just hoping Win 10 does not do a force AMD driver update later today like it did yesterday for me. I really do not want to disable all the WU stuff.
Adding custom resolution to VSR is not working. Cannot set higher than 2560x1600 via registry. Can someone confirm this?
