CPU and Windows 8.1 probably make a difference. Still, the 1040 is a beast of a driver.

    Hmm here's my Vapor X 290x @ 1100/1375 - i5 2500k @4.6 - Windows 10 and 1040 drivers.

Im scared to push the the memory cause its Hynix. I also did the same test on Win 7 and got 10100 so Win 10 is pushing score up a little bit.

    Displayport missing VSR

I have VSR as an option for my 2 side monitors connected to DVI.
But my center monitor connected with DP does not give me the option.

The side monitors are old BentQ LCD G2420HDB.
And the center is a much newer LG 29ea93p.

So there is no adapter involved to it screw up.

Anyone have the same issue or maybe an idea as to what might be going wrong?

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7593385? had to test 1125 / 1350 for stable. But my cpu score went down by 800 with newest windows 10. Might jump back up once I use it bit longer. But yeah 13172 for gpu score.

Too bad these don't work on a R9 390/390x. Wanted to get one because it's a pretty good price but I don't want to miss out on the cpu overhead improvements.

Don't worry the 390x/390 will get the same improvements for sure. More likely that they make separate files for 3xx and 2xx so 3xx will look better lol....

The 1040 drivers give nice boost tbh. We are both getting 390x level performance at nearly same clocks so it is good :)

Guess my card isn't one of them lottery chips, can't hit 1.2g even at +100mv and 50+ power limit, max i could do was 1165 and even that gave me artifacts here and there.
13577 score with it tho http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7594626?
I feel kinda sad cuz i really wanted to get watercoolin and do 1200, but now i know i can't
and i cant keep it at 1150 cuz its an XFX with a reference cooler that can't even keep
1100 mhz at 60% fan... this cooler is a disaster.

Hi there. Very interesting driver this 1040 is. Anyone know how this driver would work with this lowly msi 260x ? I'm on the 15.6 beta right now and it loves it. Also on windows 8.1 64bit......thank you guys

Yes it will. Uninstall the driver first and clean with DDU, and then install this one. You won't regret it, it's a night and day difference.

Yep, my cpu isn't really strong. Oh well, it was cheap at least.

Strong enough, just like my CPU. :) Benchmarks are cool but, I do not base my purchases on them anymore like I used too. :)

Your CPUs are fine, and they will be even better as time passes with newer games.

Nice driver. Good performance out of MadVR (used to get better performance out of gtx 760 lol) and using dxva2 copy-back in LAV decoder. No issues.

as for draw calls - I am no expert, games seem to work the same as they did with beta AMD driver or I am not noticing the difference.
Overclock is screwed up though, cant move from factory OC (1020MHz core) without having drivers crash and revert my card to 270x performance :S Weird...
