    ???
i installed 15.5 and took a few DLLs that might be related, and then installed 1040 again, and i finally gets it to work, but the whole videos gone wrong,

there's shadowing and wrong colour, and there's a green line on the bottom.

its like 2 layer of videos on top of each other, but not aligned perfectly.

i don't know what caused the green line on the bottom.

I use GoogleDNS and I don't have an antivirus so files.fm work fine for me, never encountered anything suspicious.

can't open the link at all, clicked it multiple times and the link isn't responding.

oh and thanks for trying to help, it seems what i copied from 15.5 is correct, and the weird video thing is easily fixed, by replacing the dlls on system32.

putting the dlls on the video player folder is what making the weird videos,

so don't put it on your video player folder, but put it on system32 and replace the broken dlls.

    Edit :
it seems you fixed the link shortly after i posted my reply.

and remember had to replace it directly on system32, but had to make sure CCC is not running before being able to replace the dlls.

Edit 2 : here's the DLLs from 15.5 beta for anyone that needs it.

Never seen that happening before for myself.

    How I install drivers:

    1. Uninstall drivers with DDU in safe mode (newest version)
    2. Boot to windows by disabling driver signature enforcement (tap F8 when booting)
    3. Install driver from extracted folder.
    4. Boot
    5. Enjoy

I'm not sure test mode works with windows 7.

They are indeed, but I still follow the same path, as it doesn't take extra effort to do it. Unless tapping F8 counts as effort since you're already booting after being in safemode using DDU :)

Is anyone having video playback issues with this driver ??

for the first time ever I've had multiple issues with all my video players, Windows, VLC, and DivX not being able to play videos and or skipping and crashing.

Nothing has changed or is different except me installing this driver, so I'm assuming it's the driver.

Hey mate. Just curious, do you mean you just took some of the dll's from this new driver and dropped them into the gta5 game directory? If so, could you confirm which dll's you need to copy? Wouldn't mind trying that myself if it's as easy as that.

    Cheers

Modders are no good, they make developers lazy. New games now look awful, and developers don't bother much no more to make 'em look prettier for the pc, cause of the modders. :( ''Oh well you know we can make the game look much better for the pc'', ''man don't bother yourself with that, they got them modders, they will make it look better''. And now this is happening to the drivers, and soon we will have downgraded drivers :(

I've sticked with the 1018.1 drivers because mantle performance seems to drop significantly with all the drivers released after 1018.1. DX11 draw calls seem to have went up a little since the 1018.1 but how about mantle? I know there aren't that many Mantle titles out but I play bf4 and 1018.1 is perfect for it. Anyone try the API overhead test with Mantle?
