...I'm preparing my flash drive with 8.1 uefi boot currently....right this moment In short, should I reinstall my legacy OS into uefi? Or just to hell with it...and wait till win 10 will be rlsd? Advice?

 

I know this isn't directed at me, but ideally now you should always install in UEFI mode, not legacy mode .

 

Sigh...still can't decide which I want more...i3 4170 with GTX960 or an FX 8300 with my current gpu. If I choose goin to full AMD there is no point in uefi install...cause that am3+ mobo I picked only have a legacy bios...

@Noisiv, can't do. I have a thing...an itch...my rig should be like either full AMD or an Intel + Nvidia. If not...I will be having very strong itch in my head somewhere...which cannot be dealt with another way but this

Anyone apart from WarDoc tried these for the Witcher 3 on Windows 8.1? How do they compare to the 1036 drivers?

djsolidsnake86 can you elaborate a bit more? what happens? .... :| 1036 was amazing for GTA V, I was hoping 1038 might be a TINY bit better .... !!

actually i have a tessellation issue with any driver after 15.4 1's i have to turn it off or tree's disappear

all i did was install the driver that was the modded 1 before 1036 cant think of it off the top of my head and the issue started happening

i have rulled out it the being the game or the os and did a reinstall of both

i am using the 1036 drivers though as they are good for fifa and gta except the tess thing

Smooth as butter for me with 1038 and that's what matters

What with mac's Bootcamp users?

I use imac 5K with AMD Radeon M295X and I need to use only old Bootcamp drivers (14.301) from AMD site (in bootcamp section).

if anyone could modify AMD Catalyst 15.x drivers so I can install it on Windows 8.1 on my iMac 5K eith M295X card?

I'm sure that AMD will not update this Bootcamp drivers soon...

 

can anyone confirm that the witcher 3 crossfire is improved with these drivers over the official 15.5? I still get flickering even with vsync on and sharpening and AA disabled

EDIT: I still get those issues on the 15.5. Haven't tried this one or any modded drivers yet
