Hello, I could use some help.

I decided to update my drivers and used DDU. When installing the new drivers, when it gets to the point where the screen flashes black, it comes back on and then the system freezes and requires a hard reboot. When this happens I boot back into safe mode and use DDU again.

I've tried 15.7 (what I was upgrading from), 15.7.1 and 15.8. It happens the same with all of them. I even tried manually updating just the driver via device manager and it does the same thing.

Since I really do not want to have to reinstall Windows 8.1 I even tried using the Windows Update package and that also froze.

I don't suppose anyone has any ideas?

Fixed it, thankfully. I reset the UEFI to defaults as I had no idea what could be wrong and 15.8 installed without issue. I thought I had reset everything when I was troubleshooting a game a while back but I guess not.

Have to do some gaming and see how things go. No clue what setting was causing the problem. If this also fixes the severe stutters I was getting in Diablo 3 I'll be thrilled.

    OCed BTCLK?

automoated OC programs tend to try to increase it and it has adverse effects on PCIe devices.

I had the same problems for a while, then I discovered that I did not disable/ had not uninstalled msi afterburner before installing the new drivers :p After that everything installed wonderfully.

Strange, I had a quick try last night and it worked a treat, no more 70s disco lights.

nice  may give it a try on my ol' poor netbook (hd4225) considering this build has legacy support [!] and let's see :)

    Hi,
Everyone experience fps drops in Battlefield 4 with mantle and vsync enabled? I have this problem since I upgrade to W10 with every driver I've tried. There is some sort of fix or something? because I really enjoy the smoothness of vsync on this game.

The main problem is that V-sync runs with double-buffering if you use Mantle in Forstbite games on Win10. The DX11 mode still runs with tripple-buffering as expected (honoring the game's default settings).
I didn't try if this driver fixed that. I guess not. :thumbdown

No crashes when playing HTML5 videos, no "Graphic driver has stopped working and has been recovered" errors. Seems to be best driver for Windows 10 for Wrestler APUs when installed using modified C0*.inf. 15.6 beta from Win 8.1 can be finally replaced with the 15.8 beta.

I still have lower FPS in GTA VC than I had on Win7 and shuttering.
