Apparently alot of people with gpu other than the r9 290/390/285/380/fury don't have vsr higher than 1440p or 1600p. I say one of you should make a thread, and just ask people to post gpu, monitor, native resolution, vsr max resolution and display cable used.

I can make it for you guys, if you want.

I got 3200x1800 and 2560x1600 because I have full hd (well tv) and 1200p monitors. The lower one is for the 1200p monitor. Displayport for monitor and hdmi 1.3 for that tv.

Thanks for the heads up, guys!

But after reading the list of known issues I'm going to wait for the next one and keep using 1046.2.

I also got an HDTV hooked to my main rig, 40in tv bigger than any monitor out there. I can play push my chair back and chilax while gaming. I get 3200x1800 too. But i am already itching to get me an ultra wide display. The FOV is so awesome specially in witcher 3 and far cry 4 man look at this

But i don't want a monitor, i want a TV with that kind of resolution 3440x1440

    Same performance as 1046.2.
    VSR still stuck at 1440p.

You need a big ass flat wall for it to really look nice, and you still get washed up colors. It might be easy to carry around, depending on size, but you can never deny the black screen its glory.

I've had some great projectors with great colors. My tv plasma and my monitor is 10bit awesomeness :D I need "cheap" as in with good quality colors still but not the 20 000€ ones. I will have enough space for projector tho :p

Well if anyone is crazy enough to buy a 20000 bucks projector they should just get an 8k one for 30000 bucks and open a theater/cinema. :D

I can't find CCC in Windows 10. Am I just stupid or is it hard to find?

    GPU HD 7870:

Lol i doubt the guy had trouble figuring to try that out. I think he meant that it isn't showing up at all.

You are correct. Thanks to "theoneofgod" for trying though!

It used to pop up when right clicking in W8.1, and it was always available on the taskbar. Now it's nowhere to be found.

DxDiag and DxCapsViewer are Direct3D 11.x tools, they can only report Direct3D 11.3 features under Windows 10.

You can use my command-line tool to report Direct3D 12 features.

R9 290 supports level 12_0 since driver 1023.3 from late May - however the difference between level 11_1 /GCN 1.0 hardware and level 12_0 /GCN 1.1/1.2 hardware is minimal: all AMD cards basically support the same set of optional features and they only differ by Tiled resources Tier 1 vs Tier 2, which is really a very minor change that doesn't have any practical implications.

You sure it is correctly installed. I had trouble one time where it was listed in the installed programs but it wasn't actually there. I would first check with gpu-z if it is there, and look for the driver in the device manager.

The driver was correctly installed, however CCC seemed to be corrupted. Uninstalled via DDU as Windows nor CCC uninstaller wanted to, and now it's working!
