ok.thx.hope windows update didn't replace this driver because there are a new driver from windows update for 6250 with date "22 Oct 2015".not sure this is 15.10 for 6250 or maybe :3eyes:

Just checked and M$ still got old driver from 07/07/15 for me, so 'rolled back' to 15.10

If you want to disable automatic driver update from M$, just search for ''how to disable windows 10 driver update'' with your favorite search engine on the web

 

please let there be a black ops III crossfire and single card optimizations driver before release

 

AMD Catalyst Driver for Nov is going to be a big update because of COD: Black Ops III, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 4 & Windows 10 TH2 with Direct X12.

What changes with TH2 in relation to DX12?

 

some desktop animation changes, and supposed faster game startup...

 

These have been pretty solid drivers for me so far. FWIW, Far Cry Blood Dragon, which had terrible crossfire issues for me in some recent driver versions, now works well again. I imagine the same is true for Far Cry 3, but I can't be bothered to reinstall it. Still, I'm looking forward to this rumored November driver.

 

Do you have any links about these changes? I'm quite curious and I can't seem to find anything specific for DX12.

I read the article, they don't say anything concrete except one sentence. I'll hold my horses, the DX changes sound like they'll need different drivers.

 

if they needed different drivers, fastring would be pretty worthless...

If they tweak DX stuff, they might not "need" different drivers, but actually need new ones. The fast ring comes with no promises btw.

 

i am aware, but if things dont function, people will leave the ring...

 

I seriously hope the DVI blurry text issue is fixed with this update.
One of the fixes mentions multimonitor setups.
Currently running 3x 2560x1080 monitors.
1 on display port, 1 HDMI, 1 dvi.
The dvi is helly blurry with text and icons.
Graphics are just fine though.
Whats ironic though, is my 5:4 top monitor is dvi as well on the same 290 and it works perfectly.

BTW though, I have had no issues with 15.10. Crossfire works awesomely and so is eyefinity.

 

looks like its goint to be version 1511, and will be released RTM beginning of Nov.
