Hey guys, still learning about cfx again but if anyone could help it would be appreciated. All the games I have tried work fine but some, like guild wars 2, flicker and show quite a bit of corruption when i open in game windows. Like if I preview an armor set in the trade post it looks like the cards are dying but only inside the preview window. I never see anything elsewhere and temps are really good (like 70c max)
Is this the drivers or a bad card?

Depends on what the flickering looks like....squares, spikes, dots, z crawling...? Screenshot?

Right when i posted that i saw some black dots on the desktop and tested each one individually. Funny how the bad one is the week old one and not the one from launch. Returning for another brand and guess it serves me right for going cheap

This happens far too often for my liking, it happened in evolve and it happens in Skyrim. Now I thought It was my clocks of 1100/1500 with upped volts and power limits, but it's doing it even at the stock boost clocks of 1050/1500.

There are no artifacts, no overheating and no stuttering.

    Hey guys,

Since the 14.9 driver release whenever I start a game my pc completely freezes. It's somewhat random, it happends 1/2 times. Literally all I can do is hit the power off button and try again. This beta did not fix the problem and so Im somewhat worried that every next driver update will not work for me. (on 14.8 the problem does not occur).

Does this sound familiar, any advice on what to do?

Nearly a month and no driver update from AMD its fkin unreal.
so meny new games out and no proper crossfire support for any of them.

might sell my R9295x2 and go green.... at least they can get sli support out most of the time for new games...

    These were released October 24th

Less than 2 weeks ago, not even close to a month.

And who said they have to release one a month?

as far as i know, they said no schedule period.

Rather than bitch, why dont you tell us what game you are having issues with?

    perhaps someone has a solution.

per AMD, AW profile is coming in the next release which is soon.

"Catalyst 14.9.2 is the game ready AMD driver for COD:AW, however this driver does not currently have a Crossfire profile. We will release a new driver soon to rectify this."

Kind of funny, no? Not that I care, I'm running the WHQL 14.9's without any issues at all and I wouldn't touch a Call of Duty game with a ten foot pole, lol.

Game ready generally refers to single cards, as a vast majority of the market.

For some reason, I am having trouble installing these beta drivers. I have tried multiple times uninstall all catalyst applications and the GPU drivers as well but my catalyst version will always say 14.7 and the driver autodetect will say they are up to date. I even tried to have the driver autodetect find the correct driver after uninstalling all of the gpu drivers. It found it was supposed to be 14.9 and I proceeded with the installation and it still says 14.7. Any tips or help would be appreciated. I am using an HD 7790.

Beta drivers do not have the version set and I think 14.9 is also lacking it. Check the first post of this thread, if CCC shows the same driver and driver components versions then 14.9.2 has been successfully installed.

Well, the only game that does not work properly is Dead Rising 3.

Even the Call of Duty AW works on all settings maxed, Supersample 8x at 55~60 fps

    I'm using 14.9.1, Windows 8.1

The only complain i have about AMD is 4K Downsampling that's only works with GEDOSATO.
