I actually picked custom option but I guess I missed it.

Now to the drivers:

Thief at 2560x1440 has some flickering on the edges of the screen with crossfire enabled.

Battlefield 4 still stuck at 40fps using mantle and vsync on, works fine with vsync off but tearing is a dealbreaker, still can't find a way to solve this issue though without mantle I have no problems running the game at 1440 and max settings. 60fps with no drops.

As for the rest this drivers seem to work fine.

And yes I uninstalled the previous drivers properly, been dong it for years.

 

what is your monitor refresh rate?

 

Mantle is workign good with my 7870 ghz now,, just a few hiccups WOW what an amazing driver.

 

60hz, gpu usage 35% both gpus in bf4 and mantle 40fps

 

sounds like its 80, and vsync is dropping to 40 because it cant maintain 80.

 

Why is that, it doesn't look outdated to me?

I'll update the sound card and OS, but I don't think thats relevent is it?

Top! Fixed my crossfire problems with Thief and Mantle in Bf4 works better. ( But still a memory leak, so i have to stay with DX11)

Windows folder, System32 folder, scroll down to Mantle.dll, just hover over it.

 

he meant your motherboard info...Asus isnt very descriptive so we cant tell weather you have intel IGP. If you have anything other than a P67, you do indeed have intel IGP and it needs to be disabled.

 

Tested already on few maps in bf4.

I was unable to test mantle with first driver supporting it because it was crashing the game on loading map. This time i gave it a go and everything works but, game seems to be even more bugged with mantle enabled and definitely have much lower performance in comparison to dx11.

 

You said tou don't have iGPU but your CPU has one.

 

it's around 120fps without vsync, and yes dell u2711 monitor is 60hz, I wish it was 80... open to more suggestions to fix this issue, even deleted bf4 config files

 

Thief works the same for me like 14.1 beta , no difference at all.. 56fps avg , 66fps max on both drivers.. in benchmark mode..
