You just make me laugh LOL
Well i am expecting with these new opegas in 2 days the following. :
VSR tweaks : let people select what ever resolution they want if it does not work it will say so when they try to apply it. for instance 4k or for 29" ultra wide monitors 3440x1440 aspect ratio, can be done with CRU so why not through catylist ?
or some form of manual mode to apply the resolution you want that you know works.
Crossfire profiles for all the games that have been released in this past 3 months.
better optimization, or a change of look to the CCC UI.
Direct X 12 full compatibility with R series cards.
and anything else i have forgotten lol
Does anyone know if freesync will be implemented for eyefinity in the future?
If so - there is absolutely no way to do that with the R9 290(x) cards right given that they only have one DP 1.2? Aka...there is no driver method to do the same thing as Nvidia surround allowing for each monitor to plug into a separate GPU card's DP for eyefinity?
GSync modules were only for a couple monitors that were released before GSync was finalized. It is not a chip that can be added to any monitor. There are only 4 GSync and 8 FreeSync compatible monitors. You would need a new monitor either way.
If it means that much just sell the monitor, I am sure you could recoup most of what you paid. Considering you have a 290x and 144hz monitor you must have more income than me and I am a very budget minded gamer (still rocking my 8yr old 16:10).
yes, supposedly the April drivers will enable Fressync+VSR+Eyefinity.
you could use a MST hub...
Unfortunately I'm aiming for 1440p eyefinity freesync/adaptivesync which is not possible with daisy chaining or an MST hub
If anyone comes up with a brilliant idea please let me know. Would love to get those ASUS MG279Q monitors x 3 when they come out.
im waiting for the MG279Q as well
1440p IPS 120hz and a-sync? yes please...
April drivers? Are you sure? We're getting one in two days. The next one maybe in five months.
I wouldn't get too excited people.
Taken from HardwareCanuks TITAN X review :-
Oh dear :/
Anandtech used Cat 15.3 Beta drivers on their Titan X review and CF scaled on every single game (fc4, grid, talos, attila etc.)
Now if someone would be nice enough and leak those drivers so that rest of us can also play the damn games and not wait for those unneeded freewait(tm) drivers.
Nv just released yet another driver.
Remember AMDmatt said that mantle will work with BF:Hardline on launch so if it doesn't and have the same issues as bf4 then we can take him on about it. but so far I will trust him
OMG ,screw 19th march and just release them NOW ,they are already past overdue.
Is it just me or does Hardwarecanucks seem to usually have AMD cards at a disadvantage. Their benchmarks usually seem lower or relatively lower than Nvidia cards...maybe it is just a gut feeling or selective observations **I actually like Hardwarecanucks, being Canadian and all.
For everyone's sake I hope the 15.3 drivers are something of a marvel.
**noticed for anandtech they had drivers 15.3 and hardwarecanucks used 15.3.1 - maybe the discrepancy is due to this?
I agree. I mean I don't get why companies just delay when it's ready for release. I'm sure amd just sitting and waiting for the 19th to release. if they release it now it will be the exact same driver.
Per AMD, april drivers are Freesync Phase 2.
This driver is a one off, they are returning to monthly betas.
It was in the official march 19th announcement a couple weeks ago.
