AMD should go for April 1st. It would be amazing.

According to Warsam71 it will be a beta driver, which means they will be very recent. Let's hope it worth the wait.

So 2 more weeks. WTF amd. I need crossfire for some games like Dying light and Far cry 4. I still want to be able to play it with minimal lag and microstutter. Also won't mind the extra enhancements. I was ok to wait a bit but not that long

Question was asked, as they are now selling FreeSync monitors, and Freesync was supposed to be in the 14.12 Omegas.

Who cares about Freesync? It's supposedly supported by like 10 monitors

Yes why do we have to wait for freesync monitors to come out before we get a driver. So AMD stop talking nonsense and just give us beta drivers now without freesync support and just release a driver with freesync support later. We have more thing to worry about. Oh and it's 2015. Many people running crossfire looking at freesync and now you say no you have to wait for crossfire to work with freesync. This is just bad....lol. Looks like crossfire is not getting some love lately. You focus 100% on single gpu now.

AMD and all the people that work there deserve to go bankrupt and be forced to live on the street.

Honestly, when people say stuff like "because of the general support and drive treatment, I'm going Nvidia next time", they really, really should not be mocked for that, like they usually are. This is beyond ridiculous. AND they won't even have VSR support for 280/280X. Maybe we'll get that at the end of April! Maybe. Probably. Probably not. They'll find some way to screw that up too.

I'll repeat what I said earlier. Getting the budget option really shouldn't FEEL like you got the budget option. I miss Nvidia drivers so god damned much. I'm sort of starting to reverse on my whole feeling of "better drivers and support aren't worth a huge premium". Here's hoping I can somehow in the next year justify a new videocard purchase so I don't have to deal with such shoddy support anymore.

AMD cards, flat out, aren't for enthusiasts. They're budget cards, with budget drivers, and budget support, and considering how their market share is only getting worse and worse, it's probably not going to get much better any time soon.

That's just mean and irrational. Not everyone in AMD is working on the driver team (apparently, no one is!).

they seem to be spouting out a lot of yeah we are doing this and yeah we are doing that and yeah we are helping found the future of technology and yet what do we have nothing to show for it, nothing to back them up with,

its all talk no show when it comes to AMD/ATI lately.

im starting to turn into a corpse at the amount of time that has gone by and yet we have no new driver and i have bought games in the past 2 months that need driver updates and crossfire

i wish to god i hadnt have bought this r9295x2 cause it cost me a fortune for what hardware, i bought hardware but where is the software ? ehh ??? i dont know why but the cash they get they should hire proper driver teams and i mean not just 1 team get 3 teams working get drivers out consistently.

VSR works great for me, as does mantle and true audio.

They got MS of their collective keister and got DX12 moving, as well as mantle being the baseline for Vulcan.

Freesync is imminent, and monitors are already in the wild.

They seem to be backing up their claims fine to me.

yea well, not everyone wants a TN panel in their monitor and not everyone has r9 290. It's working just for people with those cards.

true audio? What is "true" about it? optical out to a 150$ Onkyo is "truer"...

They've effectively ignored having custom resolutions, and the actual use of downsampling for years upon years upon years, and only the flagship new chipset even gets it.

That's good for you. Sucks for everyone else, though. AMD treats most of their customers like ****. Y'know, because it's clearly the budget brand, and acts like it.
