AMD Catalyst 14.12 Omega WHQL (14.501.1003.0 November 20)

Since BF4 patch yesterday,, yes game is a lot better but like myself it also has introduced crashes :bang: i have been told its a driver issue ? this is what win7 event says

ok just tell me more about this crash. Does it crash when closing the game or while playing it? When does it crash. Mine crashes when closing the game but only on DX11 mode. In mantle mode it's fine. According to DICE AMD needs to bring out updated driver to fix VRAM leak but that's only for windows 8.1 users. Have you tried upgrading to windows 8.1. And please I beg you don't come with this "I refuse to use windows 8.1' crap. Then sorry we can't help you.


Ok another thing is overclocking your card can cause this.

 

The crash only occurs when you exit the game, so while there is a problem of some sort, it's not game breaking.

 

mine only crashes when i exit the game ,DX11 not mantle
No Overclock

Read my post again please. A game that had a nvidia graphics preset surely will support SLI but not proper CrossFire.

 

Pay the same Bill to developers as nvidia. absolutely this simple. If they don´t or can´t, they´ll die. Also as simple as it gets

 

+1 , my firend run bf4 verry weel with 670 GTX SLI from 1 year ...
My cfx run verry well with crash ... ( tested whithout OC )
After 5 years on amd my next card will be Green
4 month whithout drivers and any news from amd , 4 month for ? Civilisation cfx profil add ? all the time we are waiting 3-4 month for a broken driver whithout profil cfx for 70% of best games ... I'm selling my cfx and goodbye amd go for 970 SLI with real driver .

LOL. Umad bro. I'm just in a funny mood today. I guess it's because my BF4 runs very well since yesterday so I'm in a happy mood. I tell you Nvidia is not that much better. It's better but not to the point where AMD cards is unbearable to play games with and Nvidia is super smooth. Nvidia also have it's ups and downs. Anyway good luck with Nvidia and wish you a happy gaming life. How can you say we wait for a broken driver? How do you know it's broken? Maybe it will fix lots of issues for us. Take for example Resident evil revelations 2. Runs great without a driver update

 

i'm not fanboying but i said you my firend have sli of gtx 670 with a 4670k
on signle card my games run better than him , but in cfx ... Just look far cry 4 , dragon age , Diablo III , Daying light , COD advanced warfare people are complaining about amd cfx driver on their forum but not about nvidia SLI , my friends have a better experience of dual card than me for ~1 year ( more smoother , more fps ) .

 

just can't install this on my acer aspire 7745g, with switchable graphics (ati mobilty radeonHD 5650 / intel graphics). Everytime the program try to install, it gives me black screen and reboot.

Users will blame AMD for this kind of problems, trust me, i'm "stupid".

 

For those complaining about DAI texture flashing in xfire, patch5 came out yesterday supposedly fixes it.

Here is yet another example of people blaming drivers for something thats clearly the devleopers fault.

 

They've fixed it, so AMD will reactivate the Xfire profile in this driver.
