I have CFX of R9 290x and a 4k monitor, on CoD:AW, on some maps I have little freezes like texture loading freezes, otherwise all goes well with this drivers.

Yes I'm actually sad i went with my qnix monitor. It's not that the monitor sucks believe me it's awesome when it works but so many issues. You need a beast system running 2560x1440@96hz and actually getting 96fps and so on. If you happy with 1080p 60hz then rather stay with it as long as you can as you won't know how good 120hz or so is and your mind will still accept 60hz is smooth as silk. I'm so used to my monitor that when playing on 60hz panel is a nightmare and not smooth anymore. I would still like to try 1080p 120hz/144hz. Maybe if i have the money I will get the rog swift that runs at least on displayport and I don't have to overclock it to get higher hz making thing worse.

I think 1080p 144hz is like the sweet spot untill single gpu can do 1440p @ 144hz.

I wish I payed double the amount on my screen and went with 1080p 144hz.

In BF4 with DX11 and Crossfire I have noticed some geometry flickering after installing this driver that wasn't there in 14.9.2. The best I can describe it is as follows: seems like some objects are rendered correctly in one frame and untextured or unlit in another, therefore they "flicker" as they alternate between the fully rendered state in one frame and the broken one in the next. The first day I installed the driver I played only a few rounds so I only noticed it on a minor scale but yesterday it was present on some large portions of the terrain/terrain decoration on several maps like Hainan Resort or Dragon Pass.

These drivers have been a blast. I really need a mantle game to test that stuff out. And avoid anything by ubisoft since they do not know how to code.

every mantle game ive tried has been significantly better than DX.

    Better framerates and just smoother.

    Thief, Civ, PVZ..

I dont play bf4 or Sniper ELite, so i cant comment on those.

    and next week DAI.

Does anyone knows when finally the sleep problem is solved and what was the last driver not affected by it?

    Pashka:

    Try the following.

Navigate in your registry to this key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\amdkmdag

    Find this dword:

    KMD_EnableCrossGpuDisplaySupport

set it to the opposite of what you have to check if it will make a difference.

So if it is 0 .. set it to 1

if it is 1 .. set it to 0

I've just installed Catalyst 13.12, hoping get rid of that problem. Have to test yet... Have to admit, fps in new games is slightly lower.

Just downloaded and installed this driver but in "software" inside CCC it says that my driver version is: 14.201.1008-140812a-174946E-ATI. Is it the correct version for 14.1.1 beta?

If you have the HD 6850 that i see in your forum profile you must use my modified version: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=394584
Official driver does not support hd6000 or hd5000 cards.
