Yeah really... fix the god damned memory leaks. Do you hear us, AMDMatt? Please tell your people... it's a great product, but it's literally completely unusable. And Direct3D multithreaded drivers are simply better with Nvidia at this point.

I find this very funny in a sarcastic way. nVidia launch a brand new WHQL driver for Assassin's Creed and CoD AW, and all you @ AD can come up with is a BETA driver that still have ISSUE with the Crossfire scaling and other issues. Sorry AMD, I'm done with GPU's from you guys. Bye bye 2x R9 290X. Crossfire scaling has been a freaking problem for very long time, and even your WHQL driver has this problem with some games also. I'm done with AMD.

Then after they've bought their Nvidia cards, they'll be getting rid of those, and will then have to get a console, as there is no other GPUs to get.

Thats normal, you will be on the 14.11.1 drivers if only the Catalyst Version is being miss-reported, as they don't update the Catalyst Version in their BETA drivers, only their WHQLs, so if you had the 14.4 WHQLs on before these, then the Catalyst Version would show as 14.4. :)

    Oops double post :p

After this drivers my 280X is recognized as 7970Ghz. I went back to 14.7 (as i was using quite some time) its 280X again, strange.

Do you know if issue 404660 is fixed with these ? (GPU gets stuck in a low power state after it was previously stressed to max power)

Reports of these drivers lowering performance over on Overclockers.

I don't find this sad when you really take a look at what the driver really brings. There are more issues in this driver than both of them games have been added with. I have been using R9 290X in CFX and some games I really have too disable it because it cause problems. I have testet 3 drivers and 3 Betas for my R9 290X and I'm done. Even WHQL drivers bring CF scaling ISSUES, and that should ring a bell for most users, that AMD have problems solving ISSUES with the driver. Look at the big picture here, nVidia sit on bigger advantage when it comes to stable drivers.

    Indeed :D

I still wouldn't worry if its still not reading that though, as long as everything else reads correctly from these drivers.

    Yea agreed :D

Well, COD: AW is a lot better in CF mode now @ 6048x1080, it is actually playable although definitely room for improvement - but ALT-F4 to kill the game when it p1sses you off results in a black screen hang, forcing a reset of the whole machine, resulting in Eyefinity being disabled and completely lost on reboot

    Nice

EDIT - Almost forgot - a couple weeks ago I set up Eyefinity in Portrait mode as a test, 100% removed everything to do with portrait mode and set it back up in landscape mode, now whenever I reinstall AMD drivers, all my screens end up back in portrait mode - not funny

Think I'll stick with 14.9s for the time being. Maybe catch the next one and hopefully with a decent Dragon Age Inquisition crossfire profile.

Weird mine doesn't crash whatsoever. Use DDU to uninstall in safe mode and try again.

because the latest drivers amd make any performance ??? Even as a beta, do not test?
Not recommend this driver only if he gives a big improvement in game assasins

I understand you point. Anyway. This is AMD and not Apple, where always the Customer is the fool who is holding everything constantly wrong when complaining about some ridiculous bugs.

I am not holding it wrong and i dont even mentioned the very poor 14.9 Driver line where you get everything from total freeze, bluscreen, failed installation only from trying to install the driver.
The point is, i bought a game because i see the big AMD Mantle Crossfire Letters on the Promo and naively believed that this Game is optimized for my Hardware. I run two of the newest AMD GPUS with one of the most powerfull intel Cpus. Even the Game and OS runs from separate High Speed Samsung SSD. Therefore i thrown a buckload of money in my hobby to have some fun in spare time.

And then i get this mess what makes me an angry unsatisfied customer.

Yes. Mantle was smoother 90% of the time, but with occasional stutters. For me the main issue with Mantle is stability.

Also, the flickering issue when using Asus ROG Swift at 144hz was not fixed.
