OHH, that's what you're referring to. Yeah, the Catalyst Version in this shows up as 13.12, you just need to look at the actual "Driver Packaging Version", which in this case is "13.35.1005-140131a-167668E-ATI", the same as the latest beta. The Catalyst Version isn't supposed to go up with a beta, only with official releases, and as the last official release was 13.12, the Catalyst Version should indeed be 13.12. There's a registry key somewhere you can modify that at to make it 14.1 if it really nags you that much.

Not exactly. When my dGPU isn't being used and I have EnableULPS set to 0, the clocks on it will still go down to something like 100/150, instead of running full bore 600/800 (700/933 if I have it OC'd at the time). I don't think there's a lot of people that care about battery life in a laptop with this sort of setup. And as for heat, it isn't generating any heat when it's idling at 100/150, the dGPU in this laptop is directly underneath where the left palm of my hand rests, and when it gets going I can certainly feel it.

Yup, and he is not saying about not dropping the frequency to idle clock, but shut the chip down. :)

Normally laptop don't has the issues to cool down(except they has a bad cooling), but the battery life is the issues.

    3D acceleration optimization. (PX 4.0, PX 5.0=Enduro)

*PX = PowerXpress = Dynamic Switchable Graphics = Not support Mantle

*Primary Display iGPU?? = Not support Mantle

Difference between 5600 and 5700 is the clock. (6500m is renaming)

It is very complex for me. I have not found "PCI bus" in the device manager. Please explain to me better, how to do this update?
Now i did the clean install of intel and amd drivers with DDU, but after the error message continues. Although now BF4 is running better, after i selected the option "monitoring" in Catalyst, the FPS in game increased, and I do not know why, LOL.
    Sorry for my bad english.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I'm dealing with "driver stopped working and was recovered" issue.
I have made a clean instal with DDU (removed Intel and AMD drivers).
Also the version shown in catalyst sw info is still 13.12

Thanks for making this possible LEEKM!!

I'm coming from your past 13.11beta9.4fix to this one, and everything installed & runs good. If it wasn't for your mod fixes, all of our dual gfx laptops made 2 or 3 years ago (eg. AMD A6,A8 Llano laptops) would be forced to run under last years older graphic drivers.

The Catalyst info states 13.12 but the AMD Dual graphics Frame Pacing feature (under Gaming/3D Applications) proves the Catalyst is the latest newest 14.1.
Great job & thanks again LeeKM!

update :I like past drivers better for games, see here>>http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4760458&postcount=44

But what about the "driver stopped responding" problem?

Yeah, but what should I do? Wait for another release? Try clean install again? Try different intel gpu driver?

One other question LeeKM about this new 14.1 update- since this newest update seems to be for AMD Desktop users only, what does this update do for those of us that own Laptops with the 7970m AMD mobile GPUs?
It doesn't seem to be on any benefit to those of us with AMD GPU Laptops.
Mantle won't work with laptops, and from what we are seeing there doesn't seem to be anything in this new 14.1 that applies to us at all.
    Is this true?

    Thanks.
