So is framerate limiting a better solution to tearing than enabling vsync?
no, it can still be noticeable if vsync is off... frame limiters don't sync the refresh rate. Someone told me that a 120/144hz screen helps...but I cannot try since I don't have...
I just use D3DOverrider and problem solved. I HATE screen tear and d3doverrider takes care of low fps with vsync enabled in d3d games.
Amd Catalyst 13.6 beta (Win7/8 32/64bit)... not yet tried and I do not think that there is something interesting in the release notes ... but if someone wants to test in benchmark
Amd Catalyst 13.6 beta (Win7/8 32/64bit)
S1, S2 and Standby not supported. While S3, hybrid, hibernate and fast startup are
what happents when you try to sleep?
btw: what did you use to uninstall? what os?
It goes to sleep just fine. But when waking up the gpu doesn't powerup at all. It's kinda weird. But yeah using Windows 8 and had no problems whatsoever prior to 13.5.
I actually never uninstall because never had any problems before. I do use driversweeper if i change from amd to nvidia or there is something really random going on.
give ATIman uninstaller a try, and reinstall.
see if it helps.
return from sleep issues is usually a mobo issue, insufficiant power supplied by the pcie bus, but who knows. Make sure you have your latest bios.
also, make sure hybrid sleep is on in the power plan and see if that helps.
Hmmh whatever was the reason i installed 13.6 and now everything works again. go figure
Isn't Remember Me a brand new game that is not even out yet. I am sure its that new game by CAPCOM.
Plus, read the full release notes about these CAP's they actually contain more profiles than you think.
Happens to me randomly as well. Also was an issue with 13.2......
