Included new AHCI and PCI BUS driver.
BF4 runs cool for me , cant notice any difference from previous driver
well, so it's prolly right after all,
they anticipated bf4 being such a massive hit, if not for the bugs i'm sure mantle would be here already. now they want to stretch that till february, and they gonna stretch it as far as as the end of feb till thief. to have two games instead of one using mantle. or even till march or so.
tbh, using this strategy, i mean it's ok to hype, but seriously, since september? really? its like using a slingshot, you stretch it too much and i'll hit you right back in your face and that's how I feel about it. Couldn't care less now. They got me hyped, and now I un-hyped myself.
After being discovered and then subsequently removed from the 13.6 betas back in October, the GTA V profile is back again in this driver -13.30.
It wasn't in any other driver released since October. (I checked)
Just thought I'd mention that.
Also, discovered in the last WHQL (13.12)
Not sure why no one mentioned this.
I agree fully with your statement this is Bull****. This is soooo AMD. String you a long then cut you off at the knees month after month.
Just got done installing this, now my card wont OC at all! Whatever clock i use, as soon as I play a game it just goes all the way down to 740 for no reason, the card isn't even warm or something, it happens as soon as i start doing anything.
Can't create a 3x1 eyefinity display group using these drivers, when using a Club3d Displayport MST hub. The monitors connected to the displayport hub mirror each other.
Leaving this one alone!
This thread is painful to read........
Everyone does know this is not for the R9 series right??
AMD A10-7850K Desktop APU with AMD Radeon R7 Series graphics
AMD A10-7700K Desktop APU with AMD Radeon R5 Series graphics
R9 is in there, do a search
BSOD at idle.
I installed, updated initial findings, and went to the bar. 5-6 pints later I come home to a BSOD.
This is literally the first time I've seen this happen since my GeForce4 Ti4600 and I've used every beta driver that has been released between now and the 13.9 CAT's [7950 only] and the first "Detonator" driver.
I'm reverting, I do not feel these were necessarily intended for my hardware.
any one mineing on these seems to mess everthing up ?
Why are you guys having so much trouble. These are excellent drivers, no issues at all here.
Excellent drivers for BF4 getting MUCH better GPU usage from these compared to 13.12 WHQL's which was getting around 85-99% usage now with these its 99% the whole time. Frame rates have gone up too, feels smoother (probably placebo) but IQ does look a little lower tbh.
Overclocking is still fine.
How I installed:
- Revert clock speed back to stock on GPU (make sure MSI AB is set to NOT load at Windows Start or "apply overclock at start).
- Reboot into safe mode, set to reboot back into normal mode, then while in safe mode run DDU with 1 click.
- Once rebooted back into normal mode (remember to disable internet or Win Update) Standard VGA Adapter should have installed and be ready to use.
- Install these drivers, remember once package is unpacked cancel installation here. Go into C drive and locate AMD folder, get into packages and app folder. DELETE everything you DONT need here like SATA, AHCI, USB drivers etc (unless you need them for me I dont I am on Intel).
- Once you have deleted all unwanted files in Apps folder back out a couple of pages to main AMD folder and run Setup.exe from here and CUSTOM INSTALL drivers to make sure you have only got the files you need selected.
- Reboot, apply your overclocks back on via whatever app you use set custom fan profile back on as well.
you did click to show spoiler in the OP right? little less then halfway down the list r9 is supported. got to page 1 and read post #11
Overclockable Korean monitor users The old AMD driver patcher was incompatible with the new driver, so ToastyX has released an update that fixes the problem: http://www.monitortests.com/forum/T...ncompatible-with-Patcher-CRU?pid=1842#pid1842
did you patch the drivers before you went back to the old drivers?
EDIT: The AMD driver patcher was incompatible with the new driver, so ToastyX has released an update that fixes the problem: http://www.monitortests.com/forum/T...ncompatible-with-Patcher-CRU?pid=1842#pid1842 - custom refresh rates and resolutions now work on 13.30 beta
ah, so you did use the atikmdag patcher. hmmm... thanks for the heads up, I'll be avoiding this driver.
