demo looks quite nice, never seen 5500 independent objects shooting each other on screen. Seen 120k stupid particles, but that is just boring and has no potential for anything.

Well, my Maximum Unit Count: 5539
There is custom config, so one can set much higher preference. But for default it's around 5500 ships, then all shooting, explosions, motion blur...

As tech demo it's nice, can't wait to see difference with Mantle, since I do not consider my CPU to be limiting factor for normal games, which are designed for i3 @ 3.7GHz at best.

with around 5500 units I got an average of 22fps on my 2500 @4.5ghz + HD 7950 @ 1120 it was running at 44 fps at the beginning but once the units increased I got CPU bound, I could hear the Excalibur on my hyper 212 running at full speed, I didn't check but I guess it was using 100% or close to 100 % CPU, it gets that loud only when I stress tests it

 

nice, ill be running it also with a 2500K@4.5ghz and a R9-290pro when i get home

Hey everyone, anyone tested on an Asus laptop with mobility 5470 on it? I'm stuck on the 13.4 cause after that release I've tried all releases beta and stable ones so far and even after a format and clean installation of Windows I still get backlight off with each and every one of them... If I connect an HDMI cable I get an image on my TV screen and everything works fine there, but the backlight is off on the laptops screen. Anyway thanks in advance, cheers
