    have you simply tried rebooting?

i noticed with a lot of the corruption that a simple reboot helps clear away the problems. If you look through event viewer, when the is corruption, there seem to be failed attemps by ccc and amd.dll's while after a quick reboot, i would get no errors in ev and no corruption.

FF 19.0.2. Using every day, all day. Over 20 tabs at any moment. (remembered from previous session)
HW acceleration enabled, since it's default settings.
No corruption/flicker or any other problem.

My card idle clock is 500/750MHz (I know that 300/150MHz caused some issues by jumping to higher clock and back).
  4. Yay, CineBench is working again...

It is very frustrating. Us mobile gamers know we don't have the powerhouse desktop 7970, but fact is, the 7970M costs approximately $600-700. It's very expensive, and it's been like that for all high end. 680M for example retailed initially at $800-900. It's not cheap. The big difference is 680M does not suffer utilization issues, more consistent performance, does not suffer DX11 artifacts, shadow striping/flickering, and has proper switching between dGPU and iGPU. It also runs cooler and more power efficient.

7970M has not been fully functioning since release. I and others made a big snafu in August and through some pressure through other forums, this one and blogs, AMD claimed they were going to work on it. We've seen little improvement since 12.11, and even that was only slight performance. AMD released plenty of marketing BS saying how they improved performance on mobile, but real world, most of us observed the issues still exist in spades.

One of the big announcements was that AMD would have unified drivers, that include mobile, on betas and hotfixes also. It seems AMD can't even do that little part.

So yes, it's not the desktop flagship 7950/7970, but we mobile gamers also spent substantial money. I don't see why we should be relegated to second class, especially when mobile users are the majority of AMD customers.

Press Control + H, open the side panel and keep ( smooth ) scrolling on the history results... Still no corruptions? Be sure Direct2D is enabled for both... AzureCanvas and AzureContent in About:Support.

The only "solution" is to disable HWA on Firefox completely, as some times we need to disable HWA for Flash etc... AMD Peasants, that's what we are.

Just installed an HIS HD 7850 on my second rig...13.3 beta 3 very smooth. Ran 3DMark11 and the card scored a 6117.

    Second rig;

EVGA E758 motherboard with i7 950 clocked at 3.3 GHZ
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
    6 GB of DDR3 PC1600 SDRAM
HIS Radeon HD 7850 with 2 GB GDDR5

    Overclocked the 7850 to 900 / 1250 and got a 6367

Impressive little card...gets to about 2/3 the score of my GTX 670 FTW...

13.3 beta 3's are OK. No issues thus yet...still testing

wow really? I might have to check this driver out then. I tried the 13.3 beta 2 and it was terrible for me. Im on the 13.2 beta 7 and I get 58xx on 3dmark11. Kinda makes me feel like something is wrong haha.

I also have a 7850; drivers are smooth here as well so far :) Haven't ran any benchmarks though.

Do you still need to use CAP's with this driver? I think it is integrated but can anyone confirm it.
