Crossfire is brilliant..
- go for it..!!
lol, i think it's the first time i read something like that.
maybe a minor boost in performance, but nothing too drastic. Seem nice though. Furmark still crashes...
This is my experience with Crossfire on 7970s:
dont forget to look at the CAP xmls, too (RE6 is not there ya)
rise of the triad CF profile appeared in the CAP, not listed in any release notes or driver files, did that even get a release date announcement?
i get a BSOD with any of the last 3 betas in crysis 3 and its the same file every time see pic , how do i fix this - is it crysis3 or the drivers ?
Guys, I'm unable to run CCC with this driver (clean installed). It just crashes explorer.exe
Am I the only one ??
Thanks for the deep explanation yasamoka. Just what i was looking for! I kinda regret not going for nvidia after reading that but on the other hand i heard 7870 performes better on high resulotion compared to a 660. I think i will go for cf but i hope the 2gb vram on my cards will be enough for newer games. Bf3 mp maxed out on 2560x1440 eats around 1750mb vram on my 7870.
Gona try this when i get home but b6 was stable and smooth so i wonder...
All of these beta drivers cause crysis2 graphics to revert back to all the flickering shadows it got in the early days with xfire .
I have tried the beta 5, 6 & 7 so far with the same results.
+1, same problem, which drivers can we use to bypass this crappy problem ?
You would think after 16,592 posts you would understand the concept of a driver update. What you described is not a driver update but a driver re-install.
Two completely separate tasks.
With 16,592 posts are you the most muskiest smelling Troll around?
And why am I the only one too notice such non sense?
I just spotted these random GPU usage peaks while idling on the desktop
ok, few things. I was asking because I haven't used AMD in a while. Installers change, look at nvidia adding "clean install" option to their driver installer. Also, going from beta 6 to beta 7 is a driver update. re-install would be if you're re-installing the same driver. Last thing, reported. No need to call people trolls. BTW, you didn't get my post count right
With over 16,000 post I find it hard to warrant an explanation for anything!
You may be unknowingly or knowingly spreading misinformation. This concept you have on "updating drivers" is wrong. To remove a driver from a system to install a fresh one is called a driver re-install regardless the version. Not an update.
****, with over 16,000 post and don't know how to update a driver, shame on you sir!
Also you go out of the way to correct me "BTW, you didn't get my post count right "
I can smell the musk through my monitor.
The download link in the first topic is from both x86 and x64 ?
GPU temp 21C amd 8% of fan speed? :eek3:
wow! Not much gets past you, does it...
Custom GPU cooler? Or just a really cold environment? lol. Only time I had 20C was on idle in a room with windows open and a fan on in winter...
