Thank you very much, it downloads! Sadly I can't help you, in every driver I have working switchable graphics, maybe that's because I own a Richland APU laptop. But my older one had a Llano APU and had the same problem as you, no menu. You have to wait for LeekM's drivers

This is not the way to do marketing. Actually they didn't market it at all. Why people dont want to move forward? Do we need to just stay with dx for ever and wait for the slow dont care about pc f.... Microsoft to push pc gaming forward. Even if they fail they at least trying something new.

Hows bf4 with 13.12? Anyone with 7 series checked gpu usage?

It depends on the hardware apparently, but I've had working switchable graphics on all of 13.11 BETA and other drivers (it didn't work in one case, but that's because I didn't wipe drivers out before).

Try it and see is what I'll suggest.

The point he was making is... there's nothing taking advantage of Mantle currently, and the people wanting Mantle aren't developing for it, so why do people want it right now in a driver (reiterating the point that Mantle is useless without a program to use it)?

This new drivers seems to be more optimized for the newer R200 series... What's really amazing was the fact that they released the new cards knowing that the drivers are still a work in progress.

Staying on 13.9 for me until the the final/stable release..

BF4 still flickers and the ground effects are still all screwed up, half the time I don't even know where I am going. I feel like I am playing a game from the 1980's now. Hope Dice fixes this soon

Old 5 series like HD5xxx? You meant 4xxx, didn't you? Because I have old G73jh, my brother has one and friend has one too. And guess what's inside... HD5870m and guess how well it runs Battlefield 4 :D
(much better than it runs BF3 and on higher details)
I would not say staying with older HW is about money...

Explain yourself human. only new R9 cards are R9-290 and R9-290x. Remaining R9 are rebranded HD7xxx.

I even managed to start system with 280x bios on my reference HD7970, but could not find bios compatible with all components on board, therefore system was ok till driver installation and once Overdrive kicked in, card gave BSOD.

How do you know Mantle isn't included in this driver when BF4 don't support it yet?

Jealous Nvidia user ahead. Mantle removes the CPU bottlenecks and unleash the potential of GCN.

I wonder is this driver newer than 13.11 b9.5 or is it basically the same?

Due to package size I presume Mantle is not part of it. And it really does not matter at all as this is whql and I do think m$ would take a lot of time to put stamp on 1st Mantle driver.

We will see Mantle beta driver soon enough.
