this driver is awesome for me ! (invariant tsc enabled and 1 msi per cpu core done )
only issue I have is the stupid usb . pre usb 3 look to have an issue with msi so it cause lag , same with directx . I also get the microstutering but I suspect it is the frame pacing fix they tried to fix (wich was probably not needed since the issue was elsewhere I suspect !)me invariant tsc fixed all my issue so it would be nice if amd tested a clean driver ( just plain old driver without AA or frame pacing fix etc .I m pretty confident there was never an issue to begin with ! it is another of Microsoft compromise to save energy and in doing so lowering quality of imagery !

tested with an aoc i2369vm (god I love this screen!)in my book? best bang for your $

    Runs fine with my 6850.
Though when I change my VRAM memory clock to a higher value than the default one, my card is from Sapphire with 750/1100mhz, I get artifacts. Happens on the last few driver releases. Used to run my card on 850/1200 and it worked fine on the older drivers without any voltage change, but now it runs ok only on 850/1100.
To be honest, haven't had any problems at all with every 13.xx drivers apart from this OC issues. No noticable framerate drops in games either.

1 msi per CPU core? What is this?

    Hi,

is this driver package supports AMD Dual-Graphics ? (APU+GPU)

If not, which catalysts drivers can i take ?
    Thanks

Thanks but it is a Desktop PC, will it works ?

    :)

Hmm, in the case of a desktop, I'd probably just use the non-mobility driver (using the dropdown boxes on AMD's support site, it gives the desktop drivers for a Desktop APU)

I tried LeeKM drivers (Catalyst 13.9 IIRC), but there was no improvement.

And did you try update the driver of HD3000?
As they need copy the frame etc to HD3000, I also saw a huge FPS drop when windowed for some gaming.

I will try find some information for what's changed on Enduro and other thing after that 13.4 driver.

I'm having these weird artifacts in every game after 5 hours+, my GPU isn't overheating at all.

They start to piss me off. :(

I've seen that too, but it has nothing to do with the drivers.

I think Windows 8 applies the platformclock tweak on AMD CPUs when it processes it's idle tasks. :wanker:

One way to avoid this is to create a task running the "bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock" once in a while.

Yep, I tried several versions of drivers (leshcat, LeekM, official, HP ones), so different Intel drivers. They have no impact on the performance with Catalyst 13.4.
I didn't test "old" Intel drivers with latest Catalyst, I don't think it would change anything and if it's even possible (apparently, Enduro system changed a bit from Catalyst 13.8, and drivers have to/can be installed separately).

So I really out of idea, the information that I need to know is.

What GPU usage that you are getting now(13.4 as you are using it)?
The only thing that I can think is, they over optimize it for newer game, and causing other game that older than the new game(even only 1 month old) having some bad performance.

And from the changelog for 13.5 beta 2, just some performance increase.

So it can be 2 thing, the optimize on GPU has become weaker for Hitman(if the gpu usage is nearly 99% for all driver after 13.4), or the optimize on CPU has become weaker(if the gpu usage is drop in newer driver version).

It sometimes happens that newer drivers deliver weaker performance, but it's usually quickly fixed in the next drivers. But it looks like I'm the only one to have problems lol.

I'm not sure the problem occurs with Catalyst 13.5, I don't remember testing Hitman with them... But from 13.6 beta for sure.
I'm currently running with 13.11, I will try to check GPU and CPU usage this week-end with 13.4 and 13.11 on Hitman and some other games.

Ah yeah that tends to happen to me on a Sat night... this is your computer punishing you for downloading p0rn after unsuccessfully pulling a slut Fri night.

The computers these days man their scary smart... or install the drivers with one monitor plugged in to get around this like i did ;)

It was on Windows 8.1, then I Install Windows 8, to see if it helps, but nothing... anyone have the same?

Copy that, will waiting for your result. :)

For browser freezing, try disable hardware acceleration?

Ach, Thanks for anwser. So, there is two solution, Install old drivers 13.9 or wait for newer.

I was little afraid that there is something wrong with my hardware. but now i'm calm :)
