When are we going to get one of those oldschool drivers? You know, the kind that have 20-40 % improvements in all the new games, just curious if anyone has any sort if inkling.

Yes, as I know, the overdrive for hawaii don't work properly, but it is there, and you can "fix" that by using a old CCC as they said.

    tried changing power limit ?
I go to +20, accept and it resets.

What are the last fully working drivers for single card (7870?)
    I am tired of searching

That fixed it. Does that mean it is a driver issue?

I am still getting crazy tearing with these in any game crossfire. It seems to refuse to obey V-Sync settings, even when it's set it's not actually obeying the setting. Same thing in 9.2. If I clean up the drivers and go to anything before 9.2 the issue doesn't happen.

Yup. These drivers are completely borked when it comes to vsync. My guess on why people don't seem to be complaining about it more is because most of them are probably playing with vsync off anyway.

I always play with it enabled, because I hate tearing of any kind, so I noticed it right away.

I went back to 13.10 and all is fine now. No tearing.

Doesn't the broken vsync only affect people with Crossfire?

I'm still on 9.2 on my Desktop, but from what I've seen in that thread, the only people mentioning broken vsync were Crossfire users (vsync worked fine for me with a single GPU).

Vsync is working fine for me and I run everything with CFX enabled. Maybe it only affects the 79xx cards?

That might be it, I have 7950's in CFX.

290x and 79xx's are pretty similiar, so whatever bug might be hitting both.

I wouldn't know if v-syncs borked, as never use it in the drivers, i use D3DOverriders.
