Does this support Mobility Radeon 5650?
yes,its support, look at the card list
After more testing I find this driver smooth in BF3, SWTOR, and The Darkness II. Not a single issue with Crossfire in any of these games.
Still though as I've mentioned before, Alan Wake is still a problem on the HD 7 series.
hopefully amd fixes it in an upcomming cap. i would like to play alan wake.
is the CAP that is included with this driver newer than the one that is currently on amd.com. when i went to install this driver, it said i had no CAP installed. but i know for a fact i installed 12.1 CAP 3 yesterday.
Thanks for the input from you 7970 owners, I am having a real mare with my setup this week due to AMD drivers and will try these tonight with fingers tightly crossed.
so installing these driver i see there is a cap inside do u need to install that as well if u have xfire and want to have it enabled after reboot??
or is it better to run the cap from the amd site 12.3 cap i think??
ps i installed the caps from the driver...
seems to runn smooth with installed cap in driver..
so hard to keep up with the drivers l8ly....
i just checked and the cap that comes with these drivers and the one on amd.com are the same.
I only have crossfire issues in Bf3 the rest of the games are fine. With this set BF3 is running with higher frames but i still have a little stuttering.Btw i think is comming out a big patch for BF3 next month or so, hope they fix this. (note: When people say stuttering in bf3, is on multiplayer mode not Single....)
i tried alan wake on these drivers and have to say they arent bad. they could be better though. the only thing i really noticed was some light flickering and the occasasiional texture corruption. i was able to max out everything on the in game video settings, minus aa and was getting anywhere from 60% - 85% gpu usage depending on where i was. vram usage was sporaddic at best. ranging from 1280mb at its lowest to 1674mb at it highest. so i can imagine this game will eat up more vram once i start cranking up the aa.
this game has alot of potential, so hopefully amd puts out a good driver next month.
Yeah they are "okay" on a single 7970. Xfire its worthless to even try to boot the game.
Can you please tell me what drivers are best for you in Xfire mate? I am really getting downhearted here with them in Trifire. Almost sod all works.
I am new so plz sujjest me best driver coz i m suffering driver problem in my lappy... now i m using 12.1 x64whql driver.. i want 2 update my driver in latest version nt in buggi ver ..so plz preffer me which 1 iz best for gaming (gpu 6300m)
ver-12.1 or 12.2 prevew.or 12.3 beta or watever...
somehow it wont use more than 70% gpu on bf3 MP, ultra settings without motionblur, with this drivers any ideas? using the integrated cap's, gonna try removing the cap's tomorrow.
seems like quality is "medium" and it laggs in a strange way... its been smooth before:/
Probably your CPU..check the CPU load next time in BF3, if it's around 95% that means it's bottlenecking the graphics cards...try removing the cap anyway.
These drivers cause some desktop texture corruption when opening/closing afterburner..
Well, Win8 Dev Preview crashed
So that's what those are! Just saw that yesterday, first time booting up Skyrim since I upgraded to 12.3...
What desktop textures might that be?
