Only works with AMD GPU's & mobo's though.

You probably mean Lucid Virtu MVP.

As long as youve got a z77 mobo then you can take advantage of some features to boost fps in games.

How effective it is is hit & miss really, some people find it usefull, others not so much

Intense artifacting in Skyrim, like a gray net over the screen. Can't be seen in screenshots though.

BF3 just plays so smoothly with these on my 6990 at 5760x1080 Eyefinity. These installed perfectly, no idle clock bugs or anything. Probably the best driver for me in a long time

Have there been any improvements to generations before the 7000 series? I'm still on 12.4.

yeap, same here. 6990 + 6970.. and my hdtv 0% scaling after reboot does not apply.. better, it does apply.. 1 min after windows started.

    I'm also stuck on 12.4

    Well well ...
Skyrim finally fixed, iam pleased that they didn't just forget about it, it certainly seemed that way considering they took so long (why is anyone's guess) be honest i'm quite a bit disappointed it took so long Ive nearly finished the game now sigh... oh well at least they done it, but make no mistake because they "finally done it" doesn't mean they are in my good books now and i'm sure i speak for many many people, AMD you still have a lot to learn.

This driver didn't fix Skyrim, it broke it completely.

I almost want to redownload Skyrim just to try it. I never had a game become "completely broken" with any driver from AMD, including unofficial betas

The topic of Hybrid Crossfire was brought up a few posts before; I was never able to actually enable on my Biostar A880G+ motherboard (it has a 4250 IGP, and I have a 5570 GPU, which I thought was supported for Hybrid Crossfire, but I could be wrong)

Thought I edited the post I just made a little while ago... my bad

I thought the developers broke Skyrim with a patch.

Getting black screen and 100% fan lockup occasionally with these. Had this happen with BF3 and Heaven. I didn't test much more before rolling back to 12.6 on the AMD site.

It didn't stuff it up anymore than it already has been since release.

It is, and AFAIK it affects 12.6 too. The release notes basically blame the issue on outdated motherboard BIOSes, but my Asus P8P67 Deluxe is running UEFI/BIOS 3207...

20 FPS boost in BF3 on ultra. I'm happy.

Skyrim seems the same really, but I got sick of the game awhile ago, so I don't care for it anymore.

Not a single problem for me on Skyrim (1.6) with 12.7 beta (26) and other games.

I trying to get this game to run properly via my twin 6870's..

What in-game settings do you use for Skyrim..??
I'm getting misplaced place markers and GUI problems..

normally this game runs fine - 12.7 (26) BETA is the exception
earlier drivers don't give me this problem..

there are other 12.7 (26) BETA users with the same problem..

    - are you playing full-screen?
